Online Pharmacy

When it comes to medical, different countries adopt their own ways of prescription. Talking about my own country Malaysia, our general practitioners diagnose our sickness and prescribe the medicine we need, all done within their clinics. We can just shoot off home and rest our weary bodies after taking the medication. But of course, if we consult doctors in hospitals, we have to refer to the pharmacists to take our medication.

My sister who is residing in US told me that it is different for her. When she is sick, she goes to see the doctor and the doctor will write her a prescription, after which, she has to go to the pharmacy to take what is being prescribed. It is not within the vicinity of the practitioner. Sometimes she complained that it was quite troublesome especially when she needs her monthly supply and she couldn't get it at times. I am sure she will find this Online Pharmacy a great help to her. All she has to do is to fill in their online health questionnaire and assessment and all these can be done in complete confidentiality. But it is equally important to consult her own practitioner first before she purchase any medication online.

it is easier that way eventually.. with the medicine buying on our own... least we don't have to buy the amount as much as the practitioner give us. In fact practitioner usally charge a little more as they also buy and wants to earn :P

that's the same system as in the UK, & the m'sian pharmacists are proposing for it. it may work in the cities but i doubt if that is feasible in the rural area because there just aren't enough pharmacies there.

naturally, the doctors aren't interested.

I believe if it is in Malaysia, online pharmacy is not feasible yet. At least not for now. So might take the opportunity and abuse the available drugs. Who knows right? :p
