Flashing My Business Card

Yesterday I met up with an old schoolmate of mine at the badminton court and she asked me whether I was interested to go for a reunion party or not. I was told that many of them will be going for this party held in another two weeks at a popular restaurant here in our hometown. She was quite keen and she kept pestering me to come along, she said she will take along our old school magazine, just for laughs. It has been nearly 3 decades since we last saw each other.

Well, I am quite hesitant, a bit shy in fact, for I heard that most of them are mostly professionals, earning and living a very comfortable lifestyle. I can imagine the would-be-scenario, everyone will be flashing their business cards to each other and I? I do not even have a business card to show, perhaps I should go online and get some free business cards, not actually free of course, but it comes with many designs, either that or you can make your own personalized cards to start with a price as low as $3.95 only. An idea hit me, maybe I can start off with my own personalized card displaying "Claire, sole owner of www.reanaclaire.com." How about that? :)

just be yourself, Claire. if you don't have business cards, don't make them on the account of your so-called more successful ex-classmates. if they are your true friends, they'll accept you for what you are or have become.

God loves you & your family loves you. that's all that matters.

How about flashing a T-Shirt with that :). hehehe.

I understand why you hesitate. Many of my friends also put on a "HUH??" kind of face when I mention Stay Home Mom.

Don't bother Claire. As long as you are happy then that is important already. :D

It would be fun to attend the reunion party! It's not all about cards. It's friendship and catch up what has been missing out all these years. I definitely will go! I am a stay at home mom yet I still keep in touch with most of my school mates and at least meet once a year! hehe... good enough!
