The rain did it again! After each downpour, the letters in my mailbox will be wet, wet, wet! Even with the box covered, the rain still managed to seep through and my letters sure are dripping wet especially after a heavy downpour. No doubt most of my letters are bills, I have to end up drying them under the fan each night. I got to do something about it.... maybe scout around for some mailboxes that can keep away the rain.
Perhaps it is my fault, I should have wipe dry my mailbox after it stops raining. But I always seem to forget, what can you expect from me..... so much to do after office, right? And now this.. Can anyone give me some information on residential mailboxes? I want something simple and not pricey, at least just to keep the rain away from damping my letters, that is all I want. Meanwhile I have to dry up my letterbox each time after it rains....

There is one type with the lid at the letter slit. Have to lift the lid to put in the letters. Maybe that would work. price wise am not sure
Need better mailboxes, that rain can't go through.
Yer....wet wet er... :p Yeah, need to get a better mailbox huh. Or at least make a shelter for it? Poor mailbox.
I know how that feels... my letterbox floods each time after a downpour too, and everything inside will be soaking wet.
