Chinese New Year is on Valentine's Day this year, it will be a double celebration for many. Guess the food prices especially the flowers will be doubly charged as well, won't they? Well, I bet many couples will be tying the knot during this day too, a doubly joy for families alike too. Thinking of these special occasions reminded me of one grim task I have not done yet. What was that? It is none other than spring cleaning!
Have you all started to vacuum the whole house yet? I have seen some "aliens" hanging on certain parts of my wall corners and they were like "singing, come and get me." LOL... I will certainly do that one of these weekends. This year I thought of buying some new rugs for my living hall, promotions are on now and a piece or two will lighten up my hall. At this moment, my hall is bare, just white tiles, it might be a good idea to get some colorful area rugs for this special coming occasion! With rugs, they keep our feet warm especially when we are watching television and being old as I am, the rugs help in keeping rheumatism away. LOL... I will certainly look into these cheap rugs one of these days.

I'm not going to clean. Going to KL on the 10th, my daughter leaving on the 11th...and then stuck in KL till the 14th night - all flights fully booked. By the time we get home, too tried (and depressed) to celebrate liao!!! Will just keep the gates and doors locked...till it's time to go back to work!

Huh...still exhausted and brain dead from Christmas and New Year celebration. No "brain" to think of CNY and Val day yet....

last year, i hold the mop until my finger had blister, coz all in all, i sweap the floor for 7 times and mop 8 times..
