Grand Sales, Long Queues

I detest going for groceries when there is a grand sale going on in hypermarkets.  Taking the goods and putting them into our trolley is so easy but when queuing up to pay for them is real tiring, especially there are promotions and cheap sales going on, there will be long queues at all the cashier counters.  There was one time when I was lining up behind for nearly fifteen minutes and the line was moving very slowly.  There was something wrong with the cash machine, I guess they should purchase these pcamerica type of cash register for smooth paying.
