Disappearance Day 4

NOT WANTING TO GIVE UP, we went around our neighbourhood once again in the evening. With the pamphlets in hand, we put them in their mailboxes, hoping and hoping at least to shed some "light" into Jingle Bell's disappearance. He has been gone for 4 days already.... sigh...

Andy with the pamphlets
walking the streets of San Franscisco..
no la.. the streets of IPOH...

putting them in mailboxes
and anyone who comes by

Our Lord's Prayer

Putting politics and my personal problems aside, amidst all happenings, this prayer came to my mind. I would like to share Our Lord's Prayer with all of you and I hope you find it meaningful as much I do...

I believe that many of us still remember this prayer by heart, especially those who hailed from convent schools or missionaries schools during the 60s and 70s...

Our Father which art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name
(I worship and praise You)

Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven
(I want Your kingdom to be realized on earth just as it is in heaven)

Give us this day our daily bread
(I will trust in your provision)

And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors
(I will forgive others as You have forgiven me)

And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil
(Through Your strength I will resist temptation and avoid evil)

For thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever
(Because You are the owner of the kingdom, power and glory that will last forever)

Amen
(so be it)

Update With Perak Government

Being a Perakian and staying in IPOH since baby, I am indeed deeply concerned about the political crisis these few days and more so, especially today. Why? Just heard the news that the Perak Chief Minister has to vacate his office with immediate effect, orders from the State Secretariate and that goes the same with the Exco members too.

I couldn't resist not taking this picture before I left for home. The police truck and a police car were just outside the State Secretariate building, barring anyone from going in. No jams as yet, thank God, I reach home "safely". Just heard from friend that there are police block in certain areas... above all these, let's pray that God to be in control of all situations...

No News Means Not Good News...

Firstly, I want to thank all my readers' comments in my previous post about Jingle Bell... till now, there is no news of him... Andy and I have walked and drove around our neighbourhood on and off to look for him but to no avail.
Last resort, Andy will prepare some flyers or whatever they are called and will go from house to house to put into their mail boxes... though chances is slim, we still hope there might be some kind Samaritan...

Till then, I guess we have to accept that he has gone for good, hopefully to a better home...

JINGLE BELL, WHERE ARE YOU????

OUR JINGLE BELL IS MISSING!!!!!!!!
We are shocked.... WE ARE IN TOTAL SHOCK...

How and when it happened? sigh... as i relate this, i m feeling kek sum, heartbroken, heavy hearted.... slowly... i will write this...

This morning around 11am, my kids and I went to my auntie's house, still in chinese new year mood ma... so went visitation to our elders. Came back around 3pm, upon reaching the house, Jingle Bell was not at the gate waiting for it to open.... (normally when my car reached the gate, he would run out to greet us, wagging his tail)... but this pm, he didnt.

Anyway, we thought he was in the house then.... but when we got down, called him, he didnt come... We called out to him, "JINGLE BELL...JINGLE BELL" but to no avail....

We started to panic, asked their grandfather who was in the house, he said he slept and dint realize JB was missing.. ... then Andy and I drove our cars in separate ways to look for him. Fernie walked around the neighbourhood....

sigh... no sign of Jingle Bell....not here, not everywhere... surely someone has taken him home, a home we will never know where....
Oh God.. I am missing him so much cos I played with him a lot...
How I wish... he is back with us... at least let us know where..he is...

MISSING SANDAL FEW DAYS AGO, NEVER MIND, I CAN LIVE WITH IT...
BUT NOW JINGLE BELL MISSING, IT IS REALLY HARD....I AM MISSING HIM..
Please, if anyone here or IPOHians happens to see Jingle Bell anywhere...let me know...please...

Lynn with her giant paper tosai....
she was shocked for a moment...

"No Problem la... baby inside also eating ma.."

"See?? Half gone into my stomach already"
Lynn gave a conquering smile...

Well, the ending was...I helped her to finish it eventually... guess who gains weight here?

My Missing Cinderella's Sandal...

On the 29th January, 2009, around 6pm, we stopped at the Sungai Buluh Rest Area, The Jejantas. It was raining very heavily that time, AA had difficulty driving on the highway so we got to pull over to take our dinner while waiting for the wind and rain to stop...

Upon reaching home, I realized my precious left sandal was missing from my car. It was kept under my car seat in front. This pair of sandals was my favourite, I seldom wear it, too precious ma... I only wear it when I need to walk a lot, especially shopping or travelling. It was my most comfortable pair... and very sentimental....too.... (over-the-sea gift)

Now I have only the right side ..
so sad...
it may not look nice but it was my best pair...

I think it was "pushed" out from the car front seat

Lesson learnt: Dont put anything under the car seat
and Moral Of The Story:
Do not keep your favourite things
Use them, Utilise them
Before it is too late....

Now I am hoping... that somebody, anybody... will be able to find it and return it to me...... hahahaaa....(*dream on, lady!*)
