Wan Jia At Taman Wangsa Permai, Kepong

The seabass soup noodles lasted us till dinner... see, I have only two meals per day but what I don't understand is why I still gain weight when I eat "so little"...  This is really a mystery of weight gain!hehehee..

Coming back to the main topic, we had our dinner in Wan Jia Restaurant in Kepong.  It is my second time eating here and I was told that they have many signature dishes that are very succulent and tasty!  Here are some of them....
Steamed Village Chicken...
...and the chicken blends in very well with the Bentong ginger sauce..
And their Fish Head curry is not to be missed as well...
I can practically drink the curry from the bowl and savour the sweetness of ingredients!
Venison with ginger and spring onions....
Bitter gourd with salted eggs...
Very fragrant and tasty!
Highly recommended...
Wanted something green-ny and this watercress enhances the whole meal...
The meal started off....
And ended ...
Oh, that was not all..
The only disappointment is .....
The fried Man Tou came last... in fact only after we sent a few reminders...
They have forgotten about the main dish!
The Buttered Crabs!
This only came out when we were patting our stomachs...
Such a pity!
By then the "oomph" was not there anymore...
However the crab meat was very fresh and sweet...
Each of us took a piece...
And the rest went into the freezer...
If not for the "late" dish, this would be very satisfying meal...
Maybe too crowded especially the long weekend...
Anyway, no complaints about the taste...
And finally...
The bill came to around RM275 for the 8 of us...

  13. I guess the crab is the most expensive item ordered. Can cancel the crab order since you all nearly finished eating and it was not served?

    1. Yes, we have requested it to be cancelled but they took it out before the bill came...
