Being a reborn Christian since 12 years ago, I have gone through many ups and downs, facing challenges and experiencing joy during these phases of life. I believe that with proper guidance and teachings from God Almighty, our lives will be very much enlightened, and all these teachings can be obtained from the Bible. There are many verses in the Bible that applies to our lives and one of the many verses that touches me is Proverbs 3:5,6.
It says "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths."
Yes, trust is the word. Almost immediately my husband's demise, the Lord led me back to Him through my neighbour, Jennifer who is an avid believer of Jesus Christ. She took me to church weekly, gave me encouragement to know the Lord once again. My life was in turmoil at the very beginning, with three young kids to look after and was financially unstable.
But ever since knowing my Lord Jesus, through His perfect grace, despite the grief and the sadness that looms ahead, everything else seems to be running smoothly. Love and moral support from family and friends help came pouring in. During that tragic period of time, God is in control. Finance problems seem to vanish too, My God seems to be providing than we need. Grateful thanks to my family members and my best friend, Tammy, who stayed with us and gave us company for six months everyday without fail.
I know this is a fallen world, unexpected things do happen but as long as we TRUST our God with our whole heart, He shall direct our paths... He wont leave us nor forsake us....
