The Day After Thaipusam

This morning as I drove Andy to work, we passed by DR Seenivasagam Park along Jalan St John. The previous night before was Thaipusam, from the pictures below, there must be lots of people and devotees carrying their kavadis to the temple nearby.....and I wonder where the rubbish dins were... They were not seen anywhere..

When I was returning, the municipal workers were busy tidying up the whole area... salute to them..by tomorrow, the place will be spic and span again.... hopefully next year, the municipal will supply more garbage dins here and there....

  6. i wonder why us malaysians tend to dirty our streets after each fextival. no doubt its the job of the municipal council to clean up the mess we made, but wouldnt it be better if we could keep the dirts to a minimum. *sigh*

  8. i guess not only thaipusam..it happens on any occasion where there are crowds of people... esp in public areas and bins are not supplied, the easiest is for them to drop at where they stand...
