Yasmin Ahmad, A ONE-Malaysian Lady..

Yes, she is indeed a true Malaysian, one lady we should be proud of to have in our nation, Malaysia, one lady who never separates one race from another, one lady who is trying to bring unity to racial harmony.... she is one true gutsy lady .... I salute her...

Regardless of "bomb fires" directed to her by ministries and some media, she thrived on, producing true Malaysian life, a life we as Malaysians should be, the peace and harmony with one another regardless of our skin colour. I salute her....

Yasmin Ahmad, I love your shows and the video clips that you produced depicting our typical malaysian life, they are masterpieces.... they are really our malaysian facts of life ... I salute YOU!

Malaysia truly need people like you.... hope your legacy lives on and on....

(I read her blog just now... one of her posts was about Teoh Beng Hock and condolences pouring in for him and she replying to some... it is just unbelievable that she is also gone...)

  9. Superbly written, a truly fitting tribute indeed! Hers was one of the earliest blogs I read but since I started my own, I have not dropped by... I just hopped over for a look and it did not feel like she is gone, and there is no indication at all that she would be leaving so soon. Man proposes, God disposes...and only He holds tomorrow for all of us. May she rest in peace.

  10. yes, STP, when i read her blog, it is like she is still here.. i mean .. she is not sick or anything like it at all.. she is even shocked to hear about teoh's death.. and now suddenly she is also the one gone from our lives..
one thing we learn here... we do not expect the unexpected to happen, so, lets not take each other for granted, life is indeed precious and lets treasure each other more...

  13. Hi Reanclaire, guess I am in the dark as who she was, but I'm sure judging from your warm tributes of her, she must be a great lady, one whose name deserves to be carved in stone in the Hall of Fame.
    Best regards, Lee.

  14. hi U. Lee, Yasmin is one unique lady in the movie industry, she made her movies in a form of a Malaysia society we would love to have despite lots of controversies from other parties... pray that her legacy will be long remembered and be taken over by someone as gutsy and talented as her...
