A Meaningful Moment Again...

The other day we went to Camerons to see the greens, I bought back a lot of "green vegetables." Though they were not very cheap but seeing them fresh and nice, they were worth buying. After distributing some to my mum, I was left with some cabbage and some asparagus.

After the "spaghetti meal" which Gabriel and Aaron have cooked the other day, they have this notion about cooking again for dinner!! How wonderful, I said... "Please by all means, use up all the vegetables in the fridge... the fish too, meat.. whatever... I would love to have a meal all ready to be eaten once upon reaching home from work... "

Well, true enough, both of them came up with these when I reached home....

asparagus with minced meat

fried fish

cabbage with eggs (Miri dish, Gab?)

Yes, Gab is the chef..
Aaron is his assistant.. doing odds and ends? lol.. .
Simple and yet a Meal Cooked With Passion...

  6. And the best and most important part of the meal, YOU DID NOT HAVE TO PREPARE IT and it was waiting for you when you got home. That makes it twice as delicious.

  17. @Cikgu... I never tried cooking cabbages with eggs. Usually just stirfry veggies with meat/chicken or crabsticks. Or use cabbages in soups and noodles. Din kno that it'll taste good wif eggs as well. And never seen my mum or grandmum make before, but definitely gonna try it. LOL.
