A Movie Offer!!

As usual, the first thing I do when I come home from work in the evenings is to switch on my computer before I land myself in the bathroom....
As usual, the first site I go to is my gmail.com....
As usual, it is nothing unusual to receive emails ....

But it is very unusual this evening when I received one email from a Film company!!

I read it few times before I can really grasped what it said....

This company is offering me money to write movie synopsis!! Actually it is not a company la.. it is just a film website.. hahahaa.. don't be alarmed, I was just exaggerating as usual... hahhaa...

Here is an excerpt from the email....

XXXX (not x-rated company, ok..lol) offers synopsis (movie summary) to its readers so it is a bit different from other movie review blogs. Should you agree with my rate please indicate which movies from Asian countries you like to write (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, etc).

That means you only write draft after you watch a movie either online, download, or you can purchase your own movie. After finish your draft you can email me and I will edit and modify them whenever necessary before publish them in XXXXX

For further enquiries, suggestions, or even requests you can mention in your next email. Let's see if I can accommodate your requests.

There are some parts I deleted.. lol.. but the thing is ... do I have to buy my own VCDs to watch and then draft about the summary of the show? I can online and download, that might take hours....

I think this is not for me... hahahhaa... no time lar.. even if I have time to write, how much should I request from them? One original movie VCD is not cheap....furthermore, I cannot be buying pirated ones, right? (*innocent face*) :)

Sorry to mislead... my title of this post should be Movie Reviews Offer :p

    u can always download online n watch n review..

    another 'innocent' way is to google it up to read what majority have said about that movie :P

    It sounds like you would be losing money for each synopsis that you wrote. Unless you were planning to see the movie anyway.

    Hmmm... I've heard about this sort of companies when I was still in the newsroom. But those film companies would provide us with free, unreleased version of movies for us to review... not the other way around. Something like the booksneeze program. They gv u stuff to watch, u get to keep it, and the only thing you need to do is review. But never hear before they ask you to 'buy' ur own movie so that you can review from them. that is rather absurd to me.

    My advice is... play cheat if you wanna review for them. LOL!

    Yeah-lah, need to be careful with these mails. I received an email promising to pay min. USD 10.00 for every post I write as their guest blog author, also ask for my paypal account no. I din't reply them because I have no paypal a/c.

    That sounds interesting and if I were you....I probably will grab this offer....
    You can simply download the movie online...My hubby is doing some movie downloading everyday 24/7 and it was pretty fast actually.

Exploring The Sea Cruise Royal Caribbean

CRUISING ALONG.... Once we deposited our bags in our cabins, we had our buffet meal at the Hammerjack restaurant and exactly at 4pm, we heard a loud Horn signal...  ITS TIME TO SAIL ALONG THE PACIFIC OCEAN! And while the ship started to sail, we humans started to walk and explore.... to familarize ourselves inside the ship....  Elevators on each side of the ship....  Making my mark....  On another side....  We walked along to check out our food outlets... This Promenade Cafe  had became our regular joint .... We like to sit there enjoying our hot drinks and desserts... Free flow of food day and night.... Passing through the bars to the casino... The casino will open only when the ship is in international waters...  At one of the jackpot machines... I wonder if they are real?? But they are only $1 bundles... Then we went up to the highest floor.... The swimming deck.... Taken against the sun.... Nice sunset in the evening.... The Happy Trio!

The Good, The Bad But Not Ugly

MISSING AND NOW BACK IN ACTION...  I checked back my last post and it was 8 March last month and today is 19 April, less than two months only.  So what has been happening in my life?  Lots and lots... good news, bad news, sad news... all concerning health and I guess this is our life cycle as we live day by day.   My health is also not that "fantastic" during the past few months, but mine is a small rock compared to giant boulder which my best buddy is undergoing... I guess some of you know what is happening to her from her blog posts.  I was totally devastated when this happened to her, my tears couldn't help falling and my heart goes out to her.  I am ashamed to say that instead of me giving the comfort that she needs, I am the one that have been receiving her strength in times like this.  She might be crushed physically but she is not broken in her spiritual mind and soul.  One word...
