For the past one month, my MIL has been staying in hospital... she was a nice lady, very quiet and gentle, did not "kacau" (disturb) us daughters-in-laws. She stayed with her own daughter, bringing up her kids. All along she was a very soft spoken lady....
She was admitted on the 28th October and exactly 27th November, she passed on... she was 81.
My FIL passed on in January this year... pity my sister-in-law, she loses her parents in one year...

So many times when I hear of an older person dying, it is not long till the mate passes, as well. Your poor sister-in-law! A few years ago, Phil and I lost both our mothers in the same year.

Goodbye to a fine lady - you are blessed to have a good MIL. Many will fight tooth and claw with them. 80 plus is a ripe old age, so I'm sure there is much to be thankful for. May she rest in peace.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I have been under the weather for a couple of weeks and am just getting caught up.
I am sorry to hear this claire. I haven't been online much as my own father has been in hospital for just over a month now. He is 78. It is not an easy time.
