Caring Is Sharing Repair Expenses

"My poor camera..."
Someone captured this emotional picture of my colleague when I accidentally dropped her camera... One minute I was holding it to take her picture and the next thing I know, it suddenly fell onto the carpet flooring and after that, it got stuck... The lens couldn't shut and opened...

During lunch time we went to the Sony Service Centre for repair... and it cost around RM200 to replace the lens... Both of us shared out the expenses....

Moral of story:  Do be careful when you are holding a sensitive object especially when it belongs to someone's else... but then accidents do happen when we least expect it to, right?

My colleague likes this picture, a natural emotional face..  :)

  1. sorry to hear of your accident, but you made it honorably well!

  2. ooh...I know how it feels. But in my case, I dropped my camera...huhhuu....almost gave me a heart attack when I heard it crashed on the ground...thankfully it still working fine.

  3. cloudia: take it as a lesson too. :)

angel: then your brand is much better!!

  4. haha this happens to our camera but just for a will it when back to normal after a while

  5. haha this happens to our camera but just for a will it when back to normal after a while

  6. Poor thing. Suddenly have to pay unnecessary expenses hor. Anyway, it's nice of you to share the repair cost. :)

  7. Yes, accidents happen...but what is most important is, we are responsible for our actions. It's only money - friendship is more important. Lucky thing, can be repaired...and it does pay to be careful especially when handling expensive things.

  8. mecoy: maybe it didnt hurt the lens..

carolyn: that teaches me to be more careful with fragile things...

stp: yeah, if cannot repaired, then a bit hole will be burnt.. hahaha..

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...
Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch here in …

Caring And Sharing At Limestone, Regal Lodge, Ipoh

IMPROMPTU GATHERING.... Nothing was planned beforehand, it was only at the last minute that we received call to have lunch at Limestone Cafe, inside Regal Lodge.  It was my first time there to have set lunch.  The menu prices were reasonable, around RM15.90 for the main dish, RM3 for a bowl of soup and RM2 for ice cream.  Other than that, coffee, tea and soft drinks are free.
We were there not so much for the food but for the ambiance... we practically had the whole cafe to ourselves during that lunch hour.  Only one or two tables were occupied and we spent more than two hours there since it was a Friday long hour lunch for my working colleagues.  After a few months absence from me, it was wonderful to catch up with my ex-colleagues again!
I was super hungry by lunch time and I felt like eating almost anything in the menu. We ended up ordering one main dish each and then sharing them with one another so that we could taste a bit of this and that.....
I felt like eating Aglio Oli…

Famous Wanton Mee At New Hoong Kee, Bandar Sri Damansara

BREAKFAST FEAST..  Best meal of the day is always my first meal because I know I am able to tuck in as much as my stomach can accept.  I eat a lot in the mornings and then slowly dwindle by the end of the day.  As the saying goes, eat like a king in the morning and like a pauper in the evenings.  This is what I normally do nowadays, not because I wanted to, but it is my own body system that tune me this way.  Though I deny I am old but the body says otherwise... LOL...

On this morning, we went to New Hoong Kee in Bandar Sri Damansara, my sibling said this is currently his favourite place.  And after trying, I know why.... the food we ordered, all turned out good and tasty, even the curry reminded me of my good old days!
Managed to catch the name otherwise I wouldn't be able to tell this story now...  My type of curry... I can go without the chicken... Just the other ingredients will do fine for me.. I like the way they cook this curry... Heard the BBQ pork is tasty too... melt in …
