Page Ranking And Back-Up Blog

Heard that Mr. G is doing some page ranking on the 15th... that is today... so how is your blog ranking?  Mine seems to be "forever 3"...  never going up and hopefully not going down.  Anyway, for those of us who are not making money in blogging, the ranking does not count.

Heard that too many paid posts in our blogs is more serious-er.... the whole blog can "disappear" (deleted) cos it is considered a "spamming blog."  Speaking from experience, yes, I have lost my food blog "Let's Wallop" because I have "deposited" a lot of paid posts in that blog.

Now I got to be more cautious.... but you see, humans are humans.... when the "$$" sign is there, I tell myself, "aiyah, one or two more paid posts don't hurt the blog."  So from there, it is like a "disease,"  I kept posting more and more paid posts till suddenly one morning, I realized the whole blog has gone for good....

No use crying over spilled milk... so what I should do now it to BACK-UP my blog at least once each month.  Speaking of such, I better do that now before I forget...

So .. do you Back-Up your blog?  (just in case......)

  13. Hey, is it true about the blog being deleted? I'm not aware of that. But how did Google identify it as paid posts?
    Mind sharing more on this.

  18. Paid posts can mark a red flag on your blog but sometimes it is how the paid post is structured that has a factor on the rank. For as long as the content remain relevant and true, ranking remains.

  19. It's always important to see what the competitors are doing to get rankings and rely on that more than what random people say on blogs. My advice anyways. I do agree with your thoughts on SEO though! Thank you.
