More Sightseeing In Edinburgh City

Stretching out my Edinburgh posts and pictures....

We continued our sightseeing around the town by driving a bit and walking a lot... I remember the last time I came here, it was in the 1980s... I could only remember seeing a few castles and nothing to remember about the town.. well, what to expect from my memory.. after all, it was more than 30 years ago!  LOL.. Before I flew over to Scotland, I read a bit here and there about the places I was going to visit.. and now I am going to share a bit of information here...

Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland (ok, now you know, right?) and it has a population of around half a million or more. (Now I know...  Ipoh only has around 250,000 people)... Edinburgh is also the world's first UNESCO City of Literature and one of the most beautiful cities in the world, regularly polls as one of the best places to live too!  Well, I don't mind staying there for a couple of months...(provided someone is willing to sponsor me...)
Come, take a walk with me.....

my tired legs....
Lets rest for a while here...
We should have taken the city tour on the double decker bus
or taken a cab like this to paint the town red...
but instead we walked...
and walked...
and walked....
and walked.....
Ok, take 5...
cheese....
after that... I could hardly walk anymore..
and the rest of the sightseeing was done by driving... :)

  1. Looks like you guys stay at Edinburgh quite long huh?
Hmm, walking is unavoidable during travelling, so a good pair of shoes is very important!

  7. I took the double decker tour bus in London...and Bath - don't think I could walk and walk and walk. Can stop at places to take photos - catch the next one that comes along to continue.

  13. I took the double decker on both my trips but yet did not finish going to all the places that it stops at. You only need to buy the ticket once and you could get on and off at various places many times so it is really worth it.
