Bukit Kiara Park And Nyonya Desserts

The very next morning we left Rawang around 8am to start our program for the day. My friend took us to Bukit Kiara Park in Tun Dr Ismail area... (I think that is what it is called... Half way to the park,  I startled my friends when I made an exclamation!  "Oh NO... I left my camera in the room!!"  Sigh... no turning back because we were going to reach that place, no way we were going back to Rawang...

What a Blunder Blogger!  Camera is supposed to be the most important item for a blog traveler... and knowing me, it is not surprising that I leave things behind every now and then....

Putting the disappointment aside, I looked at the brighter side of things, at least I still have my faithful handphone with me... don't fret so much otherwise the whole day will be spoilt...

My friend wanted us to experience the Bukit Kiara park...we have a reason to go for a GOOD LONG WALK.... I guess you know the reason why, right???   Yes, after the long walk, we will feel so "guiltless" if we stuff our stomach with lots of FOOD!!
At the entrance of the Bukit Kiara Park where cars were parked...
It was a sunny morning....
My friend led us to walk up the steps so that it would be more cooling on higher ground..
Much cooling up here cos of the trees on both sides of the mountain...
Nicer scenery too .. but unfortunately, my HP is not doing a good job....
Lovely park to go for one or two Big Rounds...
my friends broke into a run.... I was tagging behind...
Well, I wouldn't mind coming by here again...
Especially when there is a nice Nyonya Van awaiting outside the entrance...
Jenny Hong...
Have you seen this van before?  I heard there are a few of them here and there...
My friend told me that everything sold here are good to eat and drink!
A few types of Nyonya kueh.. we bought a few to try...
True to her word... they tasted Great!
Should have bought more... each piece selling at RM1.30!
Well... after the Long Walk, it is time to move on to our second program of the day...
Time to take our Brunch!

  3. Did you see any monkeys in the park? I heard there are monkeys there. Eat to exercise or exercise to eat? Good that at least you exercise and not just eat, eat, eat like some people do.

  9. You know Claire. I've not carried my camera for several months already. All the pictures in my blog are taken using my iPhone 4s. Too lazy to bring along a camera everywhere these days and since the iPhone take good pics, that will suffice :)
