Our Generation "Food" Gap...

Apart from Dim Sum in my previous posts, my girl was also yearning for Japanese food.... hmmm... I wonder why the younger generation loves Japanese food so much....

Well, I could only think of one logical reason why I don't really prefer Japanese food... Perhaps it could be due to the fact that I grew up in the 1960s...or 1970s. era...... and during that time, Japanese or Korean food were unheard of.... and I grew up eating chinese and chinese food only!   :)

Back to my topic, to fulfill her food wish, we went to Sushi Zento as per request and I know that she would love to take this Salmon Sashimi... (is this what it is called?  correct me if I am wrong)
Besides this, she just picked and chose others from the moving welt....
I don't mind taking a piece or two ...
but I don't actually yearn for it as much as she does...
While she enjoyed her Japanese meal....
..... my mind was wandering somewhere else???
I guess I was Yearning for these instead....  hahahaa...
One Ton Noodles ah!!!
(Wantan meen)
The best in Ipoh is opposite the old Odeon cinema... (my opinion la)
The wantan noodles are mixed with "lard!"  Best!
See.... my nephew enjoying his bowl of curry mee.... yummmsss!
Give me a plate of Chee Cheong Fun anytime...
And I will enjoy it to the fullest!!

  2. The noodles looks plain with only 1 or 2 miserable leaves of vegetables, no meat & prawn but the Chee Cheong Fun looks yummy. Stomach groaning.

  11. I wonder why restaurants add so many flavours to a pure product like salmon. It can be good however.
