Q Time Cafe Go Green

My friend told me that there is a very nice vegetarian cafe opened near Farlim... I was not really "keen" in vegetarian food but when he mentioned that the desserts were super fantastic there, he got me "smitten" already!  I must go and have a Look!

We arrived around 11am or so.... it was not lunch time yet so we were more or less the first customers...
Upon entering, we were greeted by the Lady Boss...
She spoke with an American slang ...
I was curious... and....
Being Me, questions were asked and answered...
Lady boss was in New York for the past 20 years...
Came back with hubby to open this shop...
Hubby is the chef ... and a GOOD one he is!
There was a big group of us.. and while waiting for the rest to arrive,
I ordered this Sweetie Dessert and finished it all by myself !!
Homemade Brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream....RM6.50
But I have never tasted brownie like this before..
It was so rich and it just melts in my mouth...
*salivating just thinking of it!*
Looking at this now, I think I will make a trip again to Q Time this Friday!
Oh, about the dishes, there was quite a selection...
Actually I didn't manage to capture the dishes...
Too many... and Too hungry by then...
But I will surely go back again...
Try out their cheese cake and their healthy drinks...
No doubt about that!

  1. So far I have eaten vegeterian food once only and not really like it.The char siew, chicken, etc looks very real though they are made of flour. Anyway, the desserts looks good and I can feel the sweetness. Good night & sweet dream.

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...
Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch here in …

Caring And Sharing At Limestone, Regal Lodge, Ipoh

IMPROMPTU GATHERING.... Nothing was planned beforehand, it was only at the last minute that we received call to have lunch at Limestone Cafe, inside Regal Lodge.  It was my first time there to have set lunch.  The menu prices were reasonable, around RM15.90 for the main dish, RM3 for a bowl of soup and RM2 for ice cream.  Other than that, coffee, tea and soft drinks are free.
We were there not so much for the food but for the ambiance... we practically had the whole cafe to ourselves during that lunch hour.  Only one or two tables were occupied and we spent more than two hours there since it was a Friday long hour lunch for my working colleagues.  After a few months absence from me, it was wonderful to catch up with my ex-colleagues again!
I was super hungry by lunch time and I felt like eating almost anything in the menu. We ended up ordering one main dish each and then sharing them with one another so that we could taste a bit of this and that.....
I felt like eating Aglio Oli…

Famous Wanton Mee At New Hoong Kee, Bandar Sri Damansara

BREAKFAST FEAST..  Best meal of the day is always my first meal because I know I am able to tuck in as much as my stomach can accept.  I eat a lot in the mornings and then slowly dwindle by the end of the day.  As the saying goes, eat like a king in the morning and like a pauper in the evenings.  This is what I normally do nowadays, not because I wanted to, but it is my own body system that tune me this way.  Though I deny I am old but the body says otherwise... LOL...

On this morning, we went to New Hoong Kee in Bandar Sri Damansara, my sibling said this is currently his favourite place.  And after trying, I know why.... the food we ordered, all turned out good and tasty, even the curry reminded me of my good old days!
Managed to catch the name otherwise I wouldn't be able to tell this story now...  My type of curry... I can go without the chicken... Just the other ingredients will do fine for me.. I like the way they cook this curry... Heard the BBQ pork is tasty too... melt in …
