Springy Noodles At AEON Station 18, Ipoh

My girl and I dropped by at AEON Station 18 for lunch and some groceries.  After a four days break, it was time for her to go back to her studies.  Knowing that she does not have much choice of food in her college, she will always opt for Chinese food before going back.  I am not surprised that she wanted Canton-i again.... she wanted to take their "springy" noodles again.   Like all mothers, I must make sure she is pretty well fed and feeling full to the brim before she leaves, right?

It was a thirty minutes drive to reach AEON Station 18 from our house... parking is a problem normally but Thank God we got one almost immediately after we drove in....
It was almost 12 noon .. the place was nearly full....
Mama feeling happy with the appetizer in front of her...
Food was served within 10 minutes... very fast service...
Springy wanton noodles with dumplings...
We also ordered a plate of Fried Koay Teow with beef....
For desserts, we had barley with gingko and quail eggs...
It was an expensive lunch no doubt...
But money spent on our own kids are worth spending...
...especially now they are not always home...
Gone are the days when the house is full of noise ...
Money cannot buy back the time...
We could only use money to buy Happy Food... :)

  1. Nice kah? Looks something like instant noodles with extras added. We have places selling these QQ meals here - I don't mind eating them once in a while but I don;t think I would go out of my way to eat any of those. Nice, just not all that nice.

  9. True true. Money cannot buy back those precious times.

Wow! First time seeing quail egg in a dessert. Can eat once a while, because quail eggs are high in cholesterol.

  10. Yup! Rose is right. Will not buy those to eat unless we have steamboat at home. My daughter loves them so I would surely buy a few for her to enjoy.

  15. Yes, I agree with you. Must spend more "happy food" time with children when they come back home. There is really not much food choice in college.
