Whenever I travel, be it local or overseas, I make sure that I bring along a credit card with me. I feel safer with one in my bag, it is more like a habit. Well, just in case, my cash goes "missing" due to my carelessness and if there is no other way of getting cash, credit cards will "save" me from my dilemma. Yes, anything can happen when we are out of town. It is advisable to keep a card or two with us at all times. Of course, one needs to have the "discipline" to refrain from overspending with credit cards. I always tell myself that I must spend within my limits monthly, signing for payment is very easy especially when it comes to shopping in malls or online shopping. Paying back is the "headache" if one is not careful.
