Pampering Ourselves With Christmas Gifts In Ipoh Parade

After dinner my sister and I made our way to Ipoh Parade. Our intention is to go for a relaxing massage and that was what we did. I did a Thai foot reflexology whereas my sister opted for the shoulder, neck and back massage which cost RM45 and RM55 for one hour respectively. It was the first time for my sister and she loves it so much that she wanted to go again...and next time we better book a massage before we go.... LOL...

Feeling lighter after a good massage, we stepped into Tiramisu outlet and ended up buying some sales items... No, Tiramisu is not a desserts corner, formerly it was called Next Shop.. Well, both of us couldn't resist the 50 and 70% corner... and it was indeed a fruitful evening for us tonight.  I guess Christmas is in the air, it is time to shower ourselves with gifts instead.. LOL...
Christmas decorations in Ipoh Parade.. at a smaller scale...
Considered not bad for Ipoh standard...

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve...
Any plans where to go tomorrow?
I am looking forward to tomorrow's night....
Hope you are too!
Have a Blessed Christmas, Friends!!

My Failed Project In Baking Mini Egg Cakes

FAILED THIS TIME..... I don't know why, I follow exactly the ingredients and the method written in her website but it was not successful.  Something went wrong somewhere but I don't think I want to try it again.  This recipe is called Mini Egg Cake which is supposed to be soft, airy, light sponge cake but the way I made them, they turned out hard and crusty cake.   If I try again one day, I will half the portion... cos I like to eat these traditional egg cakes.... The Ingredients...  No point putting the recipe here since I failed..  LOL...  The portions of this recipe....  It looked very promising when I put them into the oven.... Even when they were in the baking process... they look good, aren't they? LOL...  I was so happy just by looking at the mini egg cakes in the tray....  And after they were let out... my heart sank....  The minute I took them out from the tray, I knew... Hard at the top...  Tak Jadi = Failed.... Now come to t

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we

Home Cooked Dishes

NOT MUCH HAPPENING... and lazy too.... My neighbour gave me half pumpkin and I have been keeping it for a couple of days before I finally decide what to do with it.  I cook it into small chunks and sauteed it with minced meat, okra and basil leaves.  Yes, it would be great to put in some small cilipadi but unfortunately, I did not find any in my fridge.  Steamed a bowl of rice and that was meal for dinner.... One dish meal....  Pumpkin reminds me of sweet potatoes...sweet after cooking... Another dinner meal consist of Sambal Fish, black pepper met and a hard boiled egg  I only boiled the egg, the other two dishes were "sponsored" by my neighbour... LOL...
