Greek Community Festival Along Lonsdale Street, Melbourne

After our heavy meal, we set out again and before we do each time, my young tour guides will "consult" the map for directions first... .
Checking out where to go... north or south... east or west....
Great, eh... I don't have to voice out anything... I just sing...
"I will follow you... follow you wherever you may go..."

Then we passed by the State Library again...
Some Koreans doing some K-Pop dance and asking us to stop for a few minutes to see them...
People happily obliged to see them perform one dance...
and then we set off again...
Passed by a few malls...
Lots of Asians in sight...
Going up some malls to look-see...
But nothing much that interests us...
Back on the streets again...
At the traffic light while waiting for it to turn green...
Ended up walking past Chinatown...
Nothing much to buy here.. just look see only...
And of course, taking pictures...
Really different from the Chinatown in San Francisco...
Few more blocks and we were amazed to see a big crowd here!
Something Greek was going on!
Looks like we were in the midst of a Greek festival....
Greek food for sale... but we didn't get any...
Looks like sweetened doughnuts...
Walking along to see what else in store...
Yes, she saw something really TALL!
Interesting!
Nice to feel the festive atmosphere coincidentally....
And we experienced a Greek dance performed by two handsome guys!
Some hair raising thrill rides too....
Everyone seems to be having fun!
I certainly did!
We felt we were part of the Greek community too.. LOL...

  10. I have heard of this Greek area from my sister! She told me it was most interesting place there to dine. I really love to eat anything Greek as my family used to have Greek neighbour in Penang who shared all their really exotic cooking! Yummy!
