A Yummy Treat In Station 18, Pengkalan

I was given a treat by my good buddy, Lynn... yes, it has been a long time since I last had a good meal with her.  We went to Station 18, it is her territory so she knows where to find good food!  The shop is called Man Yii if I am not mistaken.  It is a corner shop located near to Tesco and AEON and it was crowded when we arrived....

If shop is full of patrons, it means the food must be pretty Good....
But the setback is... crowded mean we have to wait awhile longer for the food to arrive....
I couldn't resist not ordering this plate of Hakka mee
when I saw the picture pasted at the stall...
And after awhile, the real one came...
It turned out exactly as the display....
Noodles not hard and not too soft...
Just perfect!
My friend ordered her favourite meehoon with mixed varieties...
She told me that the fish noodles is also very nice....

And as if those above were not enough...
She ordered another plate of fried koayteow with cockles, prawns and egg!
She said I must try this too since I was there already...
Yes, this plate of noodles had the "wok hei" taste!
Yummmss...
Her cheeky grin...
That's her trademark smile....
Thank you, Lynn...  for the Yummy Treat!
Take me there again, OK?
hahahaa...

  2. So much sauce in the Hakka mee? The ones I had in Seremban were quite dry, almost like Kuching kolo mee, not quite like Sibu kampua. Still, it looks the best among all three. How much?

    1. I prefer it to have a bit of sauce so that it is not dry and lumpy.. if not mistaken, the price is around RM4 with a bowl of dumplings..my friend paid and I have forgotten how much ...

  10. I was concentrating on Lynn's dimples.. Sweet.. I've always wanted to have dimples when I was a kid. I used to take chopsticks or a pen to keep poking my cheeks, so that the area would sink and have a "dimple" after that.. Boo!
I love hakka mee.. I always order hakka mee (with extra minced meat) at the coffeeshop.. Oh my, the bowl of pork mee looks good.. I only see minced pork balls and pork slices.. Where are the intestines and liver? Hahaha..
