My Dream Garden

Last weekend I went for a short holiday with my daughter to visit a friend who is staying in one of the prestigious area here.  I love to come by this area, it really looks like a resort to me.  I love their vast area where landscaping is beautiful and captivating.  The interior is also very beautiful, I love the furniture designs and do click here for more styles on cushions and foams.
These houses are fence-less, it is more or less an open concept but of course, this area is heavily guarded.  They have tight security in this area to prevent crimes and the residents prefer to pay a bit more to have a peace of mind each day and night.
I love the greens and serenity in this area here....
The open concept of a bungalow with no fencing...

But if I were to own a house, I would be surrounded by a wooden fence, something like this here.   Building a fence around my home gives me a sense of security and my own privacy.  Nowadays wooden fences are very popular and they are never out of "fashion."   I will want my fence to be a bit lower so that I could still interact with my neighbors and look out to the outside without difficulty.  I got this design and some information from Rona website, they offer a complete range of fence packages to suit  every needs.  With wooden fencing like this design here, I will enhance it further by beautifying it with lots of greens and flowers.  As I am retiring in a few months time, I am planning to do some planting of vegetables besides flowers.  This would help me to occupy myself and at the same time, planting our own vegetables are more healthy, right?

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Phil's Fish Market And Eatery, Moss Landing

DAY TRIP TO MOSS LANDING...  I did not know what to expect since I had not been there before.  We took an hour plus drive to this seafood place, it is an open air restaurant whereby you can dine by the sea or inside.  We chose the latter, since it was quite windy in the open air.  With a baby kid, it is best to have some warmth inside the restaurant. Yes, there was already a queue by the time we reached there, it was actually between lunch and dinner and yet, patrons were ready to have their meal.  Though the queue looked long, we could get a place within 10 minutes or so.   Almost the same picture but someone was looking at me when I took these...  Almost reaching the finishing line to enter ... Clam Chowder to start off...  Cioppino... A combination of seafood... Mussels, prawns, crabs, clams...  Eat what the fishermen eat... Dip the bread in the sauce... Yes, I like this... Fried chicken chunks...  And I still prefer the Cioppino compared to this....  Baby enjoying his own food befo
