MH370 And Now MH17

I was driving to work this morning around 7.35am when I switched on the radio and heard the heart wrenching news .... the newscaster was already reporting half way and initially I thought that the MH370 has been found because I heard our PM was saying that justice must be upon those responsible.. but to my horror, I heard MH17... and not MH370...  Another plane missing or crashed?  Oh No.....!

Once I reached the office, I logged into Facebook... true enough, so many have posted up the  airplane  tragedy.... How shocking!  From 8th March till today, it is only four months plus and so many lives have perished again.... really sad....

Someone sent me this...
"Boeing 777 first flight was on 17/7/1997... yesterday it was the 17 anniversary....."

Imagine the sadness we feel for those we do not know... how much more pain when the families of the victims feel?  People, the least we can do for these families is to pray... Pray for comfort and peace upon their lives...

May God Bless Their Souls...

    This is not the first and it will not be the last, not unless men learn to leave in peace...which is most likely, never. Such atrocities will continue without ceasing. Nonetheless, let us continue to pray for God is all seeing, all knowing. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

    Same, I was driving to work when I heard the radio. To make matters worse, when I logged into FB, I saw many people sharing and spreading fake news and fake information, like we never learnt anything from MH370. The feeling really sucks. All we can do is pray for them.

    i heard the news yesterday night and was so shocked it took me a while to believe it.. and quickly i go google about MH17 and yes, news all around the world was already reporting.. what a heartache to know about another disaster of MAS..

    All got the number 7, last time my friend studied numerology they say too many same numbers will have tragedy so contrary to popular belief try not to have too many same numbers for your wedding etc, eg. 11.11.11 or 12.12.12, 宁可信其有，不可信其无 (just sharing)

    Claire, it seems like our world is getting more and more evil. Here, we have many school shootings, is this something you have? These poor families.

      Shootings in my country is lesser than in US.. cos owning a gun means death sentence.. but our crime rate here is also quite high...

    MH17, a Boeing 777, made its first flight on July 17, 1997, 17 years ago & downed on 17th? eerie!

    Indeed sad & shocking to hear the news. I just can't believe my ears when my hub tolpd me. It all coincides with the number 17, weird..... One family of six from Kuching.

    Mango read in Chinese newspaper an Australian lady lost her brother & wife in MH370 and now lost her husband & step daughter in MH17.

    I feel very sad as I type this. 2 students from my wife's university had perished in this crash disaster while the chief stewardess lived in my neighbourhood.

    I was discussing with my wife that night about the airfares to London. I told her that it was cheaper to fly from KL to Paris or Amsterdam and hop onto trains to London. Within minutes, hell broke loose and TV news reported the crash. I was numbed and had sleepless nights. I dare not even think of London right now.

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Exploring The Sea Cruise Royal Caribbean

CRUISING ALONG.... Once we deposited our bags in our cabins, we had our buffet meal at the Hammerjack restaurant and exactly at 4pm, we heard a loud Horn signal...  ITS TIME TO SAIL ALONG THE PACIFIC OCEAN! And while the ship started to sail, we humans started to walk and explore.... to familarize ourselves inside the ship....  Elevators on each side of the ship....  Making my mark....  On another side....  We walked along to check out our food outlets... This Promenade Cafe  had became our regular joint .... We like to sit there enjoying our hot drinks and desserts... Free flow of food day and night.... Passing through the bars to the casino... The casino will open only when the ship is in international waters...  At one of the jackpot machines... I wonder if they are real?? But they are only $1 bundles... Then we went up to the highest floor.... The swimming deck.... Taken against the sun.... Nice sunset in the evening.... The Happy Trio!

First Day In The Royal Caribbean Cruise To Mexico

ROW ROW ROW YOUR BOAT.... gently down the sea....  Royal Caribbean, it is my second time following this giant vessel, the first time was from Singapore to Phuket, that was a very nice cruise.  So when my son mentioned that he found a good deal online, this time to Mexico, I agreed without hesitation.  Let's Go! A three nights stay with food and lodging only cost around $250 per person with at least one senior in per room.  Meals were either buffet style or fine dining, we can choose and cafes were opened 24 hours for us to rest and relax.  How not to resist... LOL...  And so here we are... just one week after landing in US, I was on the sea....  Looks small from afar...  It was a giant vessel with at least 14 floors.... On the way to embarking after Custom Clearance...  Our room for the next three nights....  Small and cosy.... And adjoining to my son's family room through a door...  The one with balcony cost a bit more...  A short briefing about safety after we checked in....
