Some Memories Along The Streets Of San Francisco

Two years ago, I made a trip to San Francisco with my sister-in-law and her daughter. Our trip took us across oceans, it was a sixteen hour flight... oh, how I dread the long journey then.  I really don't like long flights but I simply love to travel so I got to bear with it.  Our purpose of going there was to enroll my niece into her college and I took the opportunity to "enroll" myself in the city as well.
It was my first time going to the States and everything in San Francisco is an "eye opener" for me.
Love walking along the streets in the month of August, cooling and nice!
I heard that this city has the best weather  all throughout the year...
We spent a few days here to get everything done up for my niece....
The college seems to be everywhere.. at this corner, that corner...
All within the vicinity of the streets of San Francisco....
Well, I guess each year the semester starts around in September and those of you who are seeking hotels near Grinnell College, here is one hotel that attracts me.  This hotel has all the amenities that we need.  Check out their website here for more Grinnell Iowa hotels.
One of the hotels I have come across a moment ago.  Anyone fancy a bathtub just next to the bed?  :)
Back to the streets of SF, I notice that there are a lot of Asians there.   Most of them are from Hong Kong, China, Koreans and Japanese.  We feel that we are in our own country land... hahahaa....
The three of us stayed in a very nice comfortable room for a few days....
Well, I really would like to go there once again, if given an opportunity....
The sixteen hours flight does not deter me from going...
All I have to do is to pop a "pill" into my mouth and close my eyes...
That is what I normally do when it comes to long and boring flights...
Any other suggestions to make a flight more interesting? :)

  3. Try to pick those flights that allow you to arrive at SF at night. SQ and Cathay has those timings. Don't sleep on the flight, if you sleep on those uncomfortable seats will make you more tired when you arrive. Watch the movies and Running Man, then once you arrive you can just check into the hotel and crash, jet lag problem solved.

That's how I do it. Works 4 times out of 4 so far :D

    1. Aiyoh... young people like you ok lar.. older people if don't sleep will collapse upon arriving.. .hahahaa.. no more stamina and energy for the brain to work and for the limbs to walk.. :)

    2. No la, that is the point, if you arrive at night and collapse, then you sleep normal hours immediately and no more jet lag the next morning ;)
But then, yeah, you might need some of your brains to work to get through American immigration.
