Do I Need The iPhone 6?

There's a very easy answer to this question and it's... No I don't! I have been using an iPhone 4 that I got from my son when my iPhone 3 stopped working six months ago, and though I really like iPhones generally, and find them easy to use, I wouldn't say I needed a new one until it breaks... But there is a difference between "needing" something and "wanting" it! The new iPhones look really good, so I'm going to look at whether it's worth thinking about actually going out and buying one.

Games
I'm actually not that great at technology and computers and stuff like that. What I like about the Apple system is that it's easy to use and quite intuitive, as well as the fact that it looks nice! Really I just need a phone to call people, use as an alarm clock and play a few games on, and the big-screen iPhone 6 Plus would be great for gaming. I like to play bingo sometimes, which works well on my smaller iPhone 4. But the site I usually play at is good for more than just bingo games, with slots and roulette as well, so the big screen would make everything much clearer.

Sizes
This is the most important difference with the new iPhone - the screen sizes. The old phones have started to look a bit small now that so many Android phones from Samsung and other companies come with bigger screens. The smallest iPhone 6 screens have gone from 4" to 4.7", which might not sound like much but makes quite a big difference to the screen area. The iPhone 6 Plus is 5.5" diagonally which is pretty big. You could easily watch movies on it!

Cameras

Another thing I use the iPhone for is taking photos, and the new phones have a good camera in the usual place and an improved front-facing one for taking selfies and doing video calls, if that's the kind of thing you like! I think the existing camera on my phone is fine, so if the new one is better, that's great, but it wouldn't be enough to make me rush out and buy one.

Prices

I think that right now, the iPhone 6 will be too expensive to convince me that I "need" it. When it's released in Malaysia the price will be something around RM2,500-3,500 without a contract. If I was going to upgrade my iPhone 4 I'd probably think about getting an iPhone 5S, as the prices of these will probably now start to come down. The only problem is that big screen - if I get to try out someone's new iPhone 6 my old phone is going to feel very small...!

An Evening Dinner At Chef Chew Kitchen, Petaling Jaya

BACK TO SG. BULOH for a couple of days.... Come evening, we went for dinner at Chef Chew Kitchen in Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.  Since it was my first time there, I did not know what to expect except to sit back, relax and eat.  LOL... It is a one shop lot restaurant so tables are very limited.  Reservation was made at 6pm to be on the safe side, to avoid crowds and waiting for food was very minimized at this time of the day.  For the seven of us, these dishes were served on the table... Thumbs up even before the dinner...  And soon these are served...  Claypot braised ribs...  Their signature dish... Fish Maw...  First time eating fish maw which is whitish in colour...  Black Beancurd with Pumpkin sauce... Hey, this restaurant indeed serves new to me! This must be Sweet Sauce Chicken... For the American... Cos we Asians like Steamed Chicken like this!  LOL...  And the star dish of the dinner is this...  Freshly steamed and succulent prawns

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...  Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch

Night Market Along Lee Garden Plaza Hotel, Hatyai

BY THE TIME WE REACHED THE HOTEL, it was almost dark. This time round, we took a longer rest in the hotel... my girl might not need it but I certainly did!  After recharging around 80% of my body strength, we were ready to explore the streets again. Our hotel is really a strategic spot for us tourists.  The street vendors were all ready to boost their sales in front, at the side and along the whole stretch of street where we stayed.  Left, right, front... the place was filled with people and tourists like us... I could hear some of them speaking my dialect, we felt kind of at home instead of being tourists.... Besides the street vendors in front of the hotel, there was a night market just five minutes walking distance away from our hotel, Lee Garden Plaza.... Maybe they only opened during the weekends?  I am not sure about that.. .anyway, we were kind of excited to see all the bright lights along the street.... Come... Let's Go! We started from the beginning of the str
