Family Treat To Assam House, Greentown, Ipoh

It has been quite some time since we last had a meal in Assam House, Greentown Business Center. I remember the food portions there were pretty big and of course, the pricing is also "big".... hahahaa... Anyway, I called the restaurant to book a table for 11 people and we reached there at around 7pm. If not for the booking, I think we would not be able to get a nice big table....
While waiting for the food....
.... the cameras or should I say, the handphones?
They started to click here and there....
Didn't have time to chat much...
The food came out fast cos I ordered them beforehand...
Assam curry fish...
Big portion but my camera didn't give much credit..
This one tastes much better.... petai (stingy beans) with squids....
Kerabu mango..... with.....
Sambal dried prawns and cucmbers....
This is not rojak.... thought it looks like one....
It is called Chicken Rojak....
Something different... good choice...
Beancurd with mixed vegetables...
Sprouts with garlic....
Buttered crayfish....
Seven dishes... and the total bill came to RM270 for the 11 of us....
Well, I wouldn't say it is cheap... but then...
After the petrol increase, what is cheap...
Please tell me.. :)

  1. About Rm25 for a person is considered ok. So many dishes though the sambal dried prawns alone can make people eat many bowls of rice.

  5. But you had crayfish...and squids and curry fish. For 11, I think that pricing is pretty ok. Chicken rojak sounds interesting. Is this in Ipoh? Something like that place you took me to for lunch - Sin Hup Kee Restaurant along Jalan Leong Sin Nam...or maybe, a bit nicer.
