Eastern & Oriental Hotel In Penang

Andy went out to celebrate with his friends... he has not seen them for a long time and he sure wants to make full use of the time to catch up....So... where shall I go with Aaron?  We too wanted to celebrate in our own way!  hahahaa....

Not wanting to be left out, both of us made a reservation with E&O Hotel at Lebuh Farquhar, Penang... Both of us had never been there and this was quite exciting for us... We reached the hotel around 7pm and before we adjourned to the Sarkies Corner for buffet, we walked around the vicinity of the hotel.....
From the parking lot on the second floor, it looks so "caribbean".....
Then the real thing.....
We walked for some distance ....
(To lose some calories!)
I'm glad I was wearing something "loose" that evening...
hahahaa....
The British Colonial Style....
I like this jetty......
I wonder how much is per room per night.....
This was taken when we left the buffet corner to take a "breather"....
Very Victorian styled....
Wow... we took many pictures actually.....
Cos we don't know when we would be back here again!
Beautiful ambience...
Love this sight during the twilight.....

  2. You made the right choice for your celebration. Very romantic place. Can imagine the lovebirds in the love storybooks holding hands....walking along the beach and the garden...... under the moonlit sky..... listening to the lapping of the waves........

  3. Nice hotel with beautiful scenery. Last pix, looks like it reaches out to the sea. Sure it's a nice buffet dinner with mother & son bonding time.

  4. The hotel's surroundings sure look beautiful. Can see you have a great time bonding with your elder son. Will the next post be about the food at the buffet dinner?

  5. The pictures of you and Aaron are my favorite. But next I love the black silhouettes of the palm trees with the pale blue background, so beautiful! We do not have palm trees, they will not grow in this climate. They are in Florida and California though.

  7. Hmm, I have never been there for dinner, but a few times for lunch buffet. Maybe go too many times, I don't feel it is nice anymore, I prefer Straights Quay nowadays, because of the boats :D
