The Kucings At Woolley Food City, Ipoh

It started to rain when they arrived here in IPOH... showers of blessings came pouring down...  I suggested that they should stay a night since it was kind of late already.... Managed to get a room in Mornington Hotel, no swimming pool nor gym but just a clean and comfortable room... Hope they like it!   Waited for them at the hotel and it was almost 3.30pm when they finally stepped in....

After checking in, we went hunting for food along the same row.... one place was closed.. and other commented that the noodles were also finished... At such odd hour, the only place that offered "Okay" food around Ipoh Garden is Woolley... true enough, there were quite a number of stalls still opened....
I ordered Claypot Yam rice....
Mamarazzi ordered Salted Fish with Meat....
I was yearning for this... long time didn't get to eat this...

    Itu orang Terengganu lah - bring rain!!! Kway teow no see ham? How much one plate? Ooooo...I love claypot rice! Can't get here - got one very nice stall long time ago - closed down liao. So far, out of town some more. Troublesome to go and eat. :(

      I think mama didnt order si ham... not sure how much.. must ask her.. anyway, cannot remember... no time to think of the price... standard is around 4.50... food is nice.. and also too hungry gua.. hahaa..

    wah!! the Kucings stayed a night in Ipoh, and surely they have more time for good food!! aiyoh, the Ipoh Mayor commented that the place to find "okay" food is Wolley but holy J i find those food all very nice!! especially the yam rice, i am drooling now leh!!

    what was Mamarazzi Kucing trying to express there?? hahaha, very obvious lah.. she may seemed to put on a sweet smile on her face, but we know deep down in her heart, she was saying "eih, Auntie Claire, you enough taking photos of me or not?? i already hungry want to eat but you keep on asking me to pose!! later i beat your butt butt then you know!!"~~ :D

    I love to have some of the hoi jit with paku pakis and the sotong with kangkong. The rain makes us very hungry.

Exploring The Sea Cruise Royal Caribbean

CRUISING ALONG.... Once we deposited our bags in our cabins, we had our buffet meal at the Hammerjack restaurant and exactly at 4pm, we heard a loud Horn signal...  ITS TIME TO SAIL ALONG THE PACIFIC OCEAN! And while the ship started to sail, we humans started to walk and explore.... to familarize ourselves inside the ship....  Elevators on each side of the ship....  Making my mark....  On another side....  We walked along to check out our food outlets... This Promenade Cafe  had became our regular joint .... We like to sit there enjoying our hot drinks and desserts... Free flow of food day and night.... Passing through the bars to the casino... The casino will open only when the ship is in international waters...  At one of the jackpot machines... I wonder if they are real?? But they are only $1 bundles... Then we went up to the highest floor.... The swimming deck.... Taken against the sun.... Nice sunset in the evening.... The Happy Trio!

First Day In The Royal Caribbean Cruise To Mexico

ROW ROW ROW YOUR BOAT.... gently down the sea....  Royal Caribbean, it is my second time following this giant vessel, the first time was from Singapore to Phuket, that was a very nice cruise.  So when my son mentioned that he found a good deal online, this time to Mexico, I agreed without hesitation.  Let's Go! A three nights stay with food and lodging only cost around $250 per person with at least one senior in per room.  Meals were either buffet style or fine dining, we can choose and cafes were opened 24 hours for us to rest and relax.  How not to resist... LOL...  And so here we are... just one week after landing in US, I was on the sea....  Looks small from afar...  It was a giant vessel with at least 14 floors.... On the way to embarking after Custom Clearance...  Our room for the next three nights....  Small and cosy.... And adjoining to my son's family room through a door...  The one with balcony cost a bit more...  A short briefing about safety after we checked in....
