Close Work Lunch At Chemor Village

We still get "connected" though a few of us have retired... when it comes to FOOD, nothing can deter us from gathering together and have a good time sharing laughter!  Chinese New Year is around the corner and this is the best excuse to arrange a Close Shop Lunch (Sau Koong Chau) before ushering in the Chinese Lunar New Year...

May Tan recommended that we go for Crispy Duck in Chemor... and the eight of us ended up driving in two cars up north, some twenty minutes away from First Garden.  Upon reaching, it is already closed and will only reopen after CNY....

Well, that did not dampen our foodie mood, we just had to hop over to the next shop there...
May Tan recommended that this shop also serves good food...
Thumbs up even before the food is served!
hahahaha...
Dishes recommended by the Man are as follows...
Roasted Pork with lots of garlic...
Very "heong!"
Thumbs up!
Next is the "Sang Yue" soup....
Another signature dish recommended
My girl loves it very much..
Especially it was served by one sweet lady...
Stinky beans with minced meat...
Thumbs UP!
This is "9th leaves flowers"
Steamed clams in wine...
I like the soup... very nice...
Nice outing!
More Thumbs UP...
For more Gatherings and Good Food!!
Yay!!

  1. Claire, now looking forward to the "Open Work Makan" (Hoy Koong Chau). No so much for food but for getting together, stories and laughter. Thumbs up!
