This time we stayed at the Flamingo Hotel along Tanjung Bungah instead of Royal Hotel in town.
Nice comfy beds for us....
From the balcony of our room....
Can see part of the beach from here.... see little bit of the sea only....
Fast forward, these are part of the food we took while we were there....
Lunch and Dinner...
Apong Telur.... 80 sen each...
Koay Teow Th'ng ...
Penang popiah.....
Fried Or Chien... RM7
Rojak... RM5
Mixed noodles I like...
Koay Teow with Mihun...
We went to Northam Beach....
They have "Live Senior Singing" and Dancing too!
I am fine with it but not so with my girl...
hahahaha...
One more "idea" got added to my mind...
Dancing Lessons!
See when I have the Time!!
I had rojak yesterday, but didn't take picture, hehe...
ReplyDeleteAll the food looks tempting. Love the or chien most. I have self made rojak today.
ReplyDeleteNice food, all look very delicious. Hotel room and bed very comfy.
ReplyDeleteTjg Bungah? Ferringhi Beach side? You have car, no problem. Otherwise, taxi to city centre, one way over RM100. That's why I would prefer to stay in the city itself. How much per night, that hotel?
ReplyDeletewah!!! sorry ah, actually i quickly scroll down to skip the photos of the room because i know sure there will be good makan photos below, hahaha.. and i was right!! aiyoyo, just now only had porridge for dinner, you know lah, porridge cannot tahan long.. so looking at your apom telor, koay teow th'ng, orh chien, popiah and rojak really makes me even hungrier!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely view from your hotel room! You are now very familiar with Penang to drive around with your daughter for all the nice food?
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty hotel with a pretty view of the water. The food looks extra good, too. Hope you are having fun and sleeping late now that you are totally free!
ReplyDeleteyes to dance lesson!!! but no, i dun hav time yet...but i'm sure u'l hav the time since u r now retire ;-)
ReplyDeleteLovely view from the hotel.. All the food makes me lau hau sui, especially the kuey teow thn'g.. Aaahhh dancing, now that you've got all the time, can go do what you like, I support you :)
ReplyDeleteSo what did you think about the food in Northam Beach? Most people I know of don't like that place. I thought it was alright though. You go there not to have the best char kuay teow or the best laksa in Penang anyway..
ReplyDeleteBring me there la
ReplyDeleteNice food as usual. Great that you are having a good time with your girl!
