An Evening With River Cats And The Bees At Raley Fields

HAD A GREAT TIME OF MY LIFE AT RALEY FIELDS LAST EVENING!  For the first time in history, I went to witness a live Baseball game between two cities... River Cats representing Sacramento and The Bees from Salt Lake City....  Wow, I never thought I would have a chance to go for a live game, used to watch those on TV only and now I have been to the Real Thing... What a Blessing!!
The game started at 7pm...but we were there as early as 5.30pm..
The Raley Field...
Spectators were already there...
Couldn't believe it... I am really here!
Hi Girls!!
At the entrance, our tickets cost $23 each....
The Sacramento Mascot greeting the crowd...
The beauties getting ready...
And I was eyeing the food booths for my dinner!
And the arena before the crowd sets in....
Getting the field clean and ready....
 Ok, time for food!
Wanted something simple and nice....
Hot Dog before dressing...
And after dressing!
Yummmmsss!  Now it is time to go in!
My drink on a souvenir cup...
And my melted ice cream which was so "slurpy!"
Before the match started...
The players getting ready... warming up...
Salt Lake City ...
River Cats Fan!
And the match began......!
The cheering.... I love the way they raised up their hands... I followed suit...
They cheered... I cheered.. hahahaa...
I like his hat though....
I have one too!  Abu gave it to me that evening...
It cost $21 !!  I wouldn't want to pay that.. hahahaa...
So touched by his gift!
And the match went on .....
I had some briefing about the game from the guys sitting right and left....
And I cheered for some..especially when the ball went over the net to our direction....
And the score...
The River Cats from Sacramento won!!
Congratulations River Cats!!

Indeed a very memorable evening for me... Yes!
At least I get to know a bit more about Baseball now.....
hahahahaa...

  1. That sure was a lot of money to pay to go and watch a baseball match....but then, of course, I am not into sports and games. Others probably would not mind. Still, great that you went and had the experience - go watch American football next. :D

  2. Their whole country has a unique culture that loves the baseball, football and ice hockey to the max for all generations. They would party and have tail-gate parties outside the stadiums and any homes of the host. You can make friends with any strangers by just talking about games of their favourites. Abu will buy you crates of beers if you start ranting about the Steelere, Penguins and Pirates!
    Enjoy!

  5. Good job, attending one of the big 4 sports of the US! In fact baseball is the only one which you can get tickets last minute. Basketball, American football and ice hockey, if you have no season tickets then you cannot attend, apparently :/

  6. I also want to feel the feel of sitting in the stadium watching a live game. :)
