Happy Retirement At Mun Choong Restaurant, Ipoh

MET UP WITH MY EX-COLLEAGUES THIS AFTERNOON ... Where there is food, there is laughter and this time round, we gathered to give a Farewell lunch to our Man who is the most "likeable" man in JKR!  I have worked with him since the early 1980s and it is very unfair in a way!  His looks never change.. except for a few wrinkles, he looks pretty much the same as in the 80s! How come one.... Anyway, he is one of my old old buddies... thinking back, it has been more than 30 years since we last know each other... hmmmm... if only things were a bit different then... Ok, what am I babbling about?  Still Jetlag la!!

Back to my main purpose of this post...
This lunch is very special, we held it at Mun Choong Restaurant, Pasir Puteh....
Today is special because it is a All Ladies' Lunch with One Man...
Focusing all our attention to him...
hahahahaa...
And the first dish....
Second... Peking duck....
And Boonie is teaching us how to do it without chopsticks....
Sweet Sour Crispy Fried Fish...
Big head prawns... the restaurant's specialty...
Fresh and Fragrant...
Ducklet meat...
 Eaten with lettuce....
And remaining meat was cooked into a broth
 A dish of mixed Vegetables...
Followed by fried noodles and a dessert...
So... here's wishing you Happy Retirement, Mr. Foo!
Do keep in touch....
