Kam Hor Steamed Chicken, Ipoh Garden, Ipoh

WHEN I WAS STILL IN US, I was thinking of Ipoh curry noodles... now that I am back, the first thing I wanted to eat is Chicken Koay Teow aka *kai see hor fun*

After waking up at 4am and published my previous post, it was almost 6am... I was still very wide awake by then and one thing came to my mind.... Jogging!  Okay, not jog.. walk will do... Quickly I woke up my girl and together we went to Polo Ground....  It had been so long since I last had a good brisk walk and I really sweated...

An hour later, we landed ourselves in Boon Bak Garden for the famous "Kai Si Hor Fun!"
Waited twenty minutes to fulfill my satisfaction...
The soup is just enough to cover the noodles and I didn't waste them at all....
This bowl lasted me till dinner......
*I think I am still a small eater... seriously*
For dinner, my friends came and fetched us to Kam Hor in Ipoh Garden...
Oh oh... Kai Si Hor Fun again?
Yes!!
Ipoh Beansprouts... ever crunchy!
Their Sai Toe Fish balls....
Nicely arranged Steamed Chicken with green leaves...
Servings for three...
And my bowl of Ipoh Koay Teow....
Still as smooth and fine...
I like their generosity of the greens in the soup....
The half hour wait in Kam Hor is really worth it....
For four people plus drinks, the bill came to RM43....
Ipoh... Ipoh... I am Back!!

  10. I see your photos in the previous post, you didn't "expand" like I do every time I go to the US. I think US did not turn you into a big eater lah...

Ipoh hor fun really rocks. Can't find anything that comes close in Penang yet...
