Saturday Food And Shopping At IKEA

WOKE UP VERY EARLY AND OUT TO PETALING JAYA AT 8.30AM...
No jam or rush cos it was on a Saturday morning....  We went to the SS2 market and took our breakfast around there too...
My friend took us to one noodles restaurant here for their Lam Mee ... In Ipoh, we call this  "Lor Mee" cos Lam Mee is whitish in colour here in Ipoh... Taste was not bad but the price of RM8 per plate really... er... "Atas!"  hahahaha....
We had a mixture of 10 fish paste varieties....
Crispy Wanton...
For three plates of Lam Mee, 10 fish paste varieties and drinks, the bill came to a whooping RM50!
Wow!  GST punya pasal?  Eating here is definitely not cheap anymore......
After our breakie, we had a good walk here...
Relaxing in IKEA!
And we didn't go home empty-handed....
We bought a few chairs cos the colours are very attractive and bright....
And not only that, we even managed to get some snacks before leaving...
Their curry puffs and Swedish cookies are not to be missed!
Then we adjourned to Ikano's Uncle Lim and the Assam Laksa caught my eye.....
Oh... oh, turned out to be this type of noodles instead of those translucent ones....
Anyway, we managed to finish it all after downing some drinks as well...
Next destination was The Curve and we met up with another ex-classmate...
Had a light tea at the Apartment for some small bites...
Didn't manage to get some pictures cos it was kind of "sponsored"...
hahahaha...
Anyway, it was really a non-stop eating spree, that I could say....

  1. Looks like food price in PJ very expensive, so much more than in Ipoh. Eh...how come the laksa gravy looks so red and thick? It look more like sweet sour gravy to me.

  3. As usual food looks good & price is on the higher side. It's alright to pamper oneself once in awhile.

  5. GST has really pushed the prices up. We have cut down eating out recently. Can't afford it anymore. The asam laksa with meehoon would be nice.
