Our English Tea At The Falls

WE DID NOT LEAVE THE FALLS OF FEUGH until we had our afternoon tea at their restaurant.... I did not get to do that during the previous trip.... Aaron told us that we must try their afternoon tea especially their scones and cakes....
This restaurant houses private functions ... Garden weddings included...
Will be a beautiful experience to last a lifetime....
Never ending pictures to take....
At the entrance of the cottage-styled restaurant....
Outside the cafe on the balcony...
Summer will be nice for us to sit out here....
At the balcony overlooking the river....
Very English-sey.... It was almost 4pm and we were the last patrons....
Our tete-a-tete high tea... Latte... Coffee....
The giant scone....
With creams, butter and raspberry jam....
Moist carrot cake which I couldn't resist...
Yes, that's me alright..... No tea... Plain water is good enough for me.....
And after our tea, we adjourned to Mary's place for dinner!

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we

My Failed Project In Baking Mini Egg Cakes

FAILED THIS TIME..... I don't know why, I follow exactly the ingredients and the method written in her website but it was not successful.  Something went wrong somewhere but I don't think I want to try it again.  This recipe is called Mini Egg Cake which is supposed to be soft, airy, light sponge cake but the way I made them, they turned out hard and crusty cake.   If I try again one day, I will half the portion... cos I like to eat these traditional egg cakes.... The Ingredients...  No point putting the recipe here since I failed..  LOL...  The portions of this recipe....  It looked very promising when I put them into the oven.... Even when they were in the baking process... they look good, aren't they? LOL...  I was so happy just by looking at the mini egg cakes in the tray....  And after they were let out... my heart sank....  The minute I took them out from the tray, I knew... Hard at the top...  Tak Jadi = Failed.... Now come to t
