Locating Our Love Ones And Friends

With the high crime rates in our country, each of us have to be very cautious and alert whether we are in the house or outside the house.  Anything can happen nowadays the minute we step out of the house and thanks to some social media, we get to learn how to protect ourselves and avoid getting into trouble.

As a mother to three kids, I could not help by worrying about their well being even now they are already adults.  Mother never stop worrying even though there is nothing much she could do except by messaging or calling them daily.  Once they are out from their home nests, they are by themselves and we keep in touch through our handphones, thank goodness for the modern technology these days!

My girl is going for her internship training soon and she has an offer which is in another state.  It will be her first time staying far from me and being a mother, I couldn't help worrying for her safety.   I thought of going to stay with her as well during the duration of her training... hahahaha... It sounds impractical, anyway, she is not going to allow me to.  What shall I do to have a peace of mind when she is away from home especially during the night?  With all these thoughts inside me, I shared them with my friends and one of them gave me a kind of consolation... She recommended I use Funa Family Locator!

What is Funa Family Locator?  Basically it is an Apps usable for both android and iOS phones and it allows us to locate our family members or friends without calling them all the time but in real time and furthermore, it gives us a peace of mind knowing that your loved ones have safely arrived at a destination.

I am all excited to see how it works and since someone is willing to take me down to KL for a day trip, I do not have to worry about getting lost with FUNA.  Yes, I am meeting Kathy for breakfast, both of us have downloaded the Funa apps into our handphones and since I am "hopeless" in directions, she kept track of my location every now and then to make sure I was going the right way.  This is how Funa Family locator looks like when I logged in.... If in any case of emergencies, I can just click on the SOS bell.... well, I hope I do not have to use that!

Here is the address I should go to... our meeting place....
With this apps, it is so easy...
I am going the right way! YAY!!!
Yes, reaching her place soon... just minutes away....
There she is!!
When I reached our meeting place, I caught her checking on her phone...
She is so worried that I got lost along the way...
Hey, Kathy... with FUNA, I am no longer "direction-less!"
Yes, I am going to "persuade" my girl to download this Funa...
She might not want me to locate her every move but to please me, she has to do it... I hope!!

An Evening Dinner At Chef Chew Kitchen, Petaling Jaya

BACK TO SG. BULOH for a couple of days.... Come evening, we went for dinner at Chef Chew Kitchen in Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.  Since it was my first time there, I did not know what to expect except to sit back, relax and eat.  LOL... It is a one shop lot restaurant so tables are very limited.  Reservation was made at 6pm to be on the safe side, to avoid crowds and waiting for food was very minimized at this time of the day.  For the seven of us, these dishes were served on the table... Thumbs up even before the dinner...  And soon these are served...  Claypot braised ribs...  Their signature dish... Fish Maw...  First time eating fish maw which is whitish in colour...  Black Beancurd with Pumpkin sauce... Hey, this restaurant indeed serves new to me! This must be Sweet Sauce Chicken... For the American... Cos we Asians like Steamed Chicken like this!  LOL...  And the star dish of the dinner is this...  Freshly steamed and succulent prawns

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...  Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch
