Ipoh Delights Me Despite Wheeling Around

IN MY CONDITION, I NEED MORE ENERGY THAN THOSE DAYS BEFORE MY FALL...  No doubt I used to walk a lot but I did not sweat much as I do nowadays, even in my own house... What is the reason?  It is due to every step I take, every move I make, I use a lot of effort!  hahahaha... It is true....

When I am on the wheelchair, I use my hands to roll me around and my arms get firmer now than before my accident.  When I am on the walker frame, my arms are also affected because of the strength used on my arms to lift my leg up.  In fact one of my leg has solid muscles.  Other than that when I climb the stairs, I also use my arms and legs to push myself up.... phewwwww... there are fifteen steps all in all... and by the time I am up the stairs, I am sweating profusely.... Good exercise eh?!!

On the brighter note, since I am using so much energy for myself, I do not feel guilty eating a lot in one day.... hahahaa...
Wanton Noodles in the morning.....

Plus the accompaniments of Suikau....

Roti telur for lunch......
 Followed by desserts...
My tea time in Bercham food court.....
And a cooling drink to quench my thirst......
Oh, it is almost 7pm now...
Time for my dinner....
Still thinking where to go....
Must be somewhere easy where I can go hop hop!!

  1. Yes you should eat more now that you use more strength to move around.

  2. Drooling cos all are my favourite food & dessert. You eat but never gain much weight, that's a plus point. Are you still on walker frame?

  3. Enjoy your food, no need to worry about putting on weight. It is amazing that no matter how much you eat, you don't seem to put on weight at all. You have very good digestion system. Lol!

  5. You've grown fatter, that is why. But look on the bright side, now that you are rounder, more flesh, not all bones, you actually look very much younger...and more beautiful! You and your girl together look like sisters. :D

An Evening Dinner At Chef Chew Kitchen, Petaling Jaya

BACK TO SG. BULOH for a couple of days.... Come evening, we went for dinner at Chef Chew Kitchen in Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.  Since it was my first time there, I did not know what to expect except to sit back, relax and eat.  LOL... It is a one shop lot restaurant so tables are very limited.  Reservation was made at 6pm to be on the safe side, to avoid crowds and waiting for food was very minimized at this time of the day.  For the seven of us, these dishes were served on the table... Thumbs up even before the dinner...  And soon these are served...  Claypot braised ribs...  Their signature dish... Fish Maw...  First time eating fish maw which is whitish in colour...  Black Beancurd with Pumpkin sauce... Hey, this restaurant indeed serves new to me! This must be Sweet Sauce Chicken... For the American... Cos we Asians like Steamed Chicken like this!  LOL...  And the star dish of the dinner is this...  Freshly steamed and succulent prawns

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...  Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch
