Dinner With The Cat Family At Yin Her, Sg Buloh

NEVER LEAVE KL WITHOUT A MEAL WITH CAT FAMILY...  That will never do!

We were supposed to meet up for dinner on Saturday but due to some functions held near the area I was staying, it was almost impossible to go out.... I was kind of disappointed for not seeing them as planned... then to my delight, they would be coming the next evening to pick me up for dinner!  So.. all is not lost... in fact all well ends well during this short trip to KL...

Alright, where did they take me this time?  They took me to Yin Her Restaurant... a very familiar name, a place where Kathy have posted up a few times in her blog....  ahaaaa... I am very pleased the name dawned upon me at the very last moment... *Proves I do have a stronger memory for food places!* hahahaha...

I was told that this restaurant was being renovated....
The last time they came, it was an open-air restaurant...
Business must be very brisk and good!
We have two options.. either to sit inside the air con restaurant...
Or to have our dinner here.... with cool air....
And facing the fishing pond.....
We opted for the latter....
More natural with the cool evening breeze....
See what my friend brought along!!
Yes, fresh prawns all the way from Indonesia...
Not ordinary prawns but real Tiger ones!
Someone is hard at work with the " DIY Loe Sang"
Someone I knew sponsored this Loe Sang..
Thank you... it was indeed appetizing and nice!
As for our dishes.... Marmite pork ribs...
My favourite soup... Spinach...
oppppsss... Did you see what I saw?
Love their "wok hei" fried rice...
Now as I wrote this, my tummy is growling!
Last and not least... the Tiger Prawns with salted egg....
Oh my goodness!  How I wish I could eat them all....
Greedy me!
Thumbs UP for the yummylicious Dinner!
Thank you so much, dears!
I am so Blessed.....
See, even Small Kucing is so happy and Cute!!
Dear Santa, I've been Kinda Good This Year....
He certainly IS!!
hahahhahaa...

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...
Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch here in …

Caring And Sharing At Limestone, Regal Lodge, Ipoh

IMPROMPTU GATHERING.... Nothing was planned beforehand, it was only at the last minute that we received call to have lunch at Limestone Cafe, inside Regal Lodge.  It was my first time there to have set lunch.  The menu prices were reasonable, around RM15.90 for the main dish, RM3 for a bowl of soup and RM2 for ice cream.  Other than that, coffee, tea and soft drinks are free.
We were there not so much for the food but for the ambiance... we practically had the whole cafe to ourselves during that lunch hour.  Only one or two tables were occupied and we spent more than two hours there since it was a Friday long hour lunch for my working colleagues.  After a few months absence from me, it was wonderful to catch up with my ex-colleagues again!
I was super hungry by lunch time and I felt like eating almost anything in the menu. We ended up ordering one main dish each and then sharing them with one another so that we could taste a bit of this and that.....
I felt like eating Aglio Oli…

Famous Wanton Mee At New Hoong Kee, Bandar Sri Damansara

BREAKFAST FEAST..  Best meal of the day is always my first meal because I know I am able to tuck in as much as my stomach can accept.  I eat a lot in the mornings and then slowly dwindle by the end of the day.  As the saying goes, eat like a king in the morning and like a pauper in the evenings.  This is what I normally do nowadays, not because I wanted to, but it is my own body system that tune me this way.  Though I deny I am old but the body says otherwise... LOL...

On this morning, we went to New Hoong Kee in Bandar Sri Damansara, my sibling said this is currently his favourite place.  And after trying, I know why.... the food we ordered, all turned out good and tasty, even the curry reminded me of my good old days!
Managed to catch the name otherwise I wouldn't be able to tell this story now...  My type of curry... I can go without the chicken... Just the other ingredients will do fine for me.. I like the way they cook this curry... Heard the BBQ pork is tasty too... melt in …
