Steamed Chicken And Koay Teow In Buntong

THOUGHT OF EATING STEAMED CHICKEN FOR DINNER... and there is one place in Buntong which I had not been till last Friday evening... I quickly sought out for directions from my "foodie friend" who is staying around that vicinity...  It is a double storey house actually... turned into a stall in front and located in the Buntong area near the market, in fact along the same row, just a bit further down the road....

Due to the setting sun at the front, we have to sit at the side of the house to avoid the heat...
Despite the heat, the place was well kept and clean....
We were more or less the early birds and our food was served within few minutes...
Five porky balls.....
Ipoh fresh bean sprouts which is a MUST order...
And the succulent Steamed Chicken.....
So glad they gave the drumstick, the wing and a bit of breast meat....
Piping hot soup filled with smooth Koay Teow ....
And our dinner for two was eaten with satisfaction...
Price?
hmmm.... With drinks it is around RM25 plus minus..
Yes, I would like to go again but during the night when the air is cooler...
I hope.......

  6. A bowl of porky balls soup and a plate of white cut chicken can never go wrong.. I like "yau farn", but my mum likes white rice.. I can eat 3 bowls of "yau farn" alone, kosong (if the rice is nice)..

  9. This is the first time I heard of Buntong town. I guess all the Koay Teow soup in Perak are the best in Malaysia. They are good and delicious until I could not tell the difference.
