A Home Noodle Stall In Menglembu

MY FOODIE FRIEND HAS FOODIE EYES, she saw someone put up in social media, a stall within a home compound in Menglembu.  Needless to say, that lured us to go seeking the place... food knows no bounds and while I drove into the narrow road, the other two pairs of eyes started to rove the right and left for that stall.....

Yes, there was a banner hanging outside a house and quickly we parked the car at an abandoned house and walked to the house with banner.

We saw some aunties already enjoying the food here....
And quickly we also ordered and sit down patiently while the lady prepared our orders...
We noticed that she made her own fish paste and stuff them into beancurd skin and green chillies..
So we ordered her homemade stuffings....
Each day of the week has a different menu, so it seems...
For this day, it is all about meat and innards....
That comes with Lai Fun Noodles....
We ordered two bowls to be shared among the three of us....
We were glad that we did not order three instead.. for they came with big portions....
After all said and eaten, we realized that we came to the wrong stall actually....
The one which was recommended in the social media was not this stall...
but a stall further down the road which sells Tomyam noodles!
hahahahaa...
These three aunties were just too Blur Blur....or too excited...
We were not so observant after all....
Anyway, all is not lost...
We will go and seek out the right one... another day!

  3. Oh? Another stall? So many! Here, not allowed to do that - sell food at residential premises...but double standard, so many in the kampung doing it and they just turned a blind eye. We had that long ago - the things a lot cheaper...and at times, nicer too.
