From Brentwood Villa To Giant Crabs At Boddam, Peterhead

WAITED FOR AARON TO COME FETCH US FROM BRENTWOOD VILLA, the one and only guest house which makes one not missing home at all... Mary Moh who is not a stranger to many of us, she has opened a Bed and Breakfast guest house in Aberdeen here. Just opposite Aberdeen University.  A very prestigious location especially for parents and students alike, who can gather and stay at her well furnished rooms, plus on top of that, we can have the luxury to choose our own menu rabging from western food to Malaysian cuisines such as Nasi Lemak, Pan Mee both dry and soupy versions, Roti Canai, Fried Koay Teow and even Satay is not excluded!!  Just type in Brentwood Villa, Aberdeen and her website will appears before your eyes!  Lol....

Back to my post.... From Brentwood villa, we went to Peterhead,an half hour drive to fulfill one purpose.  Boddam is the name of the place where we could purchase giant crabs at a very moderate price.  We bought 8 big crabs and one kilo of velvet crabs plus one giant lobster which weigh one kg... All for the price at only £28!!  I just could't believe it.... And our dinner were just crabs and nothin else...
At the side of Brentwood Villa whike wIting for Aaron...

On the way... Nice scenery....

Boddam... A name for a small fishing town....
And while waitingfor the fishermen to getthe goods for us...

  6. The scenery in this fishing town is beautiful. How awesome! You get the fish and crabs straight from the sea!! The freshest! Plus no store to add money to the bill. Aaron must be a very good cook. He must have learned well from you.

An Evening Dinner At Chef Chew Kitchen, Petaling Jaya

BACK TO SG. BULOH for a couple of days.... Come evening, we went for dinner at Chef Chew Kitchen in Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.  Since it was my first time there, I did not know what to expect except to sit back, relax and eat.  LOL... It is a one shop lot restaurant so tables are very limited.  Reservation was made at 6pm to be on the safe side, to avoid crowds and waiting for food was very minimized at this time of the day.  For the seven of us, these dishes were served on the table... Thumbs up even before the dinner...  And soon these are served...  Claypot braised ribs...  Their signature dish... Fish Maw...  First time eating fish maw which is whitish in colour...  Black Beancurd with Pumpkin sauce... Hey, this restaurant indeed serves new to me! This must be Sweet Sauce Chicken... For the American... Cos we Asians like Steamed Chicken like this!  LOL...  And the star dish of the dinner is this...  Freshly steamed and succulent prawns

Our Orders From Afghanistan, Spanish And Australia

My Final post on the Food Festival in the Victoria Market on Wednesday night.... The atmosphere at the market was "enhanced" by the cheerful songs and music by a group band... It was indeed a merry evening filled with music-licous folk songs in the air... . Ok, how to find four seats in this crowd.... hmmmm....... Somehow we managed to... and these were what my boys brought back to our table.... Mexican rice with oysters... or is it Spanish rice?   Both are the same, I guess... LOL.... Afghanistan Food.... chunks of chicken meat with naan.... Brazilian food.... don't ask me what it is.... I just ate what was on the table....  But I am amazed by this giant burger....  ..... and what burger is this? They told me it is Crocodile Tail Burger! Meat from the crocodile tail?  Is it just a name or what... I really don't know... Took a few bites of it... and I am full!! Well, these were the food we

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...  Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch
