Shopping At Union Square And Primark, Aberdeen

AFTER OUR LUNCH, AARON DROPPED US AT UNION SQUARE....
We have approximately four hours plus to do our shopping!  My girl was all Yes for it while the mother has to start refilling the wallet before we set out.  I told her i have 70 pounds in my pocket, would be enough and I received groans... Ok, ok, Mama added in another 100 and a piece of credit card, enough?  Her smile appeared and We set out happily after that....

First shop we stepped in was JD Sports, Nike was on her mind.  Very nice designs and each pair cost around 65 pounds.  We walked out empty-handed.  On my mind, it is Primark, Primark... Very affordable prices there, to my astonishment. One dress displayed was only £1 !!  Yes, no joke, I quickly took a picture and whatsapp to my siblings, they took some time to reply and by the time they did, The dress has disappeared somewhere in someone's bag presumably.... Too late....

Anyway, we had a good loot spendin more than two hours there... And that was only the ladies' section!  We did not have time to go for men's.  Lol... We must go there again some day.  To our delight, Our loot came to a total of £27 plus!! Oh my goodness... If those were purchased in Malaysia, the total could be easily few hundred ringgit!  Yes, I bought all on sale from £1 and most expensive is my girl's pair of jeans which is £8!  Ok, must go again!! Ladies.... Lol...

Hollister is next!  The cheapest on the rack is £7.99... Good buy... Got a few for the males.... And after that, no more... My weary legs were screaming rest...rest.... Total damage for the shopping done was around £70... Indeed the standard of living here is very much lower than my country, no doubt about that...

Arrived at the Union Square....
Oh, we did not have time to go to T.K.Max...
JD and Clarks....
But she was more interested in JD for her Nike....
Inside Union Square...
We explored further to Trinity Center...
Looking for Primark and we found it after some enquiry...
And our giant bag with our loots....
Still had time to cook a simple dinner and soon, time for us to hit the pillows!
I am really surprised that I could sleep soundly even before it hits 10pm!!

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Cookies For Chinese New Year 2022 In San Jose

MISSING IN BLOGGING AGAIN.... this has become a norm now ever since I arrived to this continental... LOL... Now I understand the word of Full Commitment when it comes to taking care of baby... seriously, I have to be fully commited and occupied by this little cheeky fella who is now going to be his 10th month soon.  Wow... time flies, when I first came, he was just slightly over four months... that being said, it is soon time fo rme to pack my bags and leave.  LOL... My 6 months being a babysitter is soon over... and did I say I can hardly wait?  NO, NO... I love my job here and I am going to miss my baby tremendously!  I only don't miss his cries!  LOL...  OK, by the time I write this post, Chinese New Year is over, it is now the 4th day of CNY.  Two days before the Lunar New Year, my daughter-in-law and I cooperated fully and baked a few types of cookies.  Looking back at these pictures, I dare say that we did a good job... not on the cookies but at least we had a great time bond

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe
