British Airways, Fly Us To Aberdeen

OUR TRIP IN LONDON AND WALES CAME TO AN END, all credit goes to Aaron for organizing this wonderful 10 days 9 nights stay for me and my girl.  On the 10th day at 10am, we checked out from our Easy Hotel at Old Street, took a 6 minute to the tube station and soon, we were on our way to the Heathrow Airport once again...

The journey to the airport took around an hour to reach the airport, took a simple lunch there and to while away the hours, we watched one horror movie on our iPad.. "Train To Busan"... I did not know this Korean movie is making a hit these days, everyone seems to be talking about it and we managed to watch the whole movie online and that made the waiting easier and faster.....
Soon it was time to board.... British Airways to fly us back to Aberdeen....
It was only an hour plus flight....
And we were UP, UP in the SKY!
Normally I wouldn't look out of the window...
But since I was sitting at the window seat, I couldn't help not taking out my HP to capture these..
Breathtaking especially when the sun was coming out.....
Slowly and slowly ... the rays of lights dominates....
It sparkles up the endless skies above....
Our LOOKS up in the sky...
Really Thank God for this smooth sailing getaway....
And back to Aberdeen to do our last minute shopping and packing up!

  3. Breathtaking views indeed.

I'm not sure if you have been to York and The Cotswolds (area of outstanding beauty) in Gloucestershire with it's pretty villages and bridges. West Sussex has some lovely villages and outstanding National Trust Gardens.

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...
Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch here in …

Caring And Sharing At Limestone, Regal Lodge, Ipoh

IMPROMPTU GATHERING.... Nothing was planned beforehand, it was only at the last minute that we received call to have lunch at Limestone Cafe, inside Regal Lodge.  It was my first time there to have set lunch.  The menu prices were reasonable, around RM15.90 for the main dish, RM3 for a bowl of soup and RM2 for ice cream.  Other than that, coffee, tea and soft drinks are free.
We were there not so much for the food but for the ambiance... we practically had the whole cafe to ourselves during that lunch hour.  Only one or two tables were occupied and we spent more than two hours there since it was a Friday long hour lunch for my working colleagues.  After a few months absence from me, it was wonderful to catch up with my ex-colleagues again!
I was super hungry by lunch time and I felt like eating almost anything in the menu. We ended up ordering one main dish each and then sharing them with one another so that we could taste a bit of this and that.....
I felt like eating Aglio Oli…

Famous Wanton Mee At New Hoong Kee, Bandar Sri Damansara

BREAKFAST FEAST..  Best meal of the day is always my first meal because I know I am able to tuck in as much as my stomach can accept.  I eat a lot in the mornings and then slowly dwindle by the end of the day.  As the saying goes, eat like a king in the morning and like a pauper in the evenings.  This is what I normally do nowadays, not because I wanted to, but it is my own body system that tune me this way.  Though I deny I am old but the body says otherwise... LOL...

On this morning, we went to New Hoong Kee in Bandar Sri Damansara, my sibling said this is currently his favourite place.  And after trying, I know why.... the food we ordered, all turned out good and tasty, even the curry reminded me of my good old days!
Managed to catch the name otherwise I wouldn't be able to tell this story now...  My type of curry... I can go without the chicken... Just the other ingredients will do fine for me.. I like the way they cook this curry... Heard the BBQ pork is tasty too... melt in …
