Itinerary Ended At London Tower Bridge

A ROUND UP ON THE LAST DAY IN LONDON... We really made full use of our day, from Camden Market in the morning, then to Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Westminster Abbey and our walk continued on to Big Ben and lastly to London Bridge!

Throughout my life, I think I had not walked so much before... furthermore with my leg injury, I was expecting some pain here but to my amazement, this did not happen.  I only felt that my legs then did not belong to me anymore, they were like auto-cruise, they walked on and on... no more "FEELING"... hahahahaha...

Coca Cola London Eye, Westminster Bridge Road...
And here we are!
And having fun with it...

Just opposite is the Big Ben with the sun against us...
We didn't join the river cruise but we cruised along the River Thames...
We crossed the bridge to the other side to join the tourists...
As we walked along the banks of River Thames...
As we cruised along with our legs....
If not mistaken, this is Waterloo Bridge...
Or is it Blackfriars Bridge...
And from afar, we saw the iconic bridge.. Tower Bridge!
One must not leave London without coming here... so they say...
And so we must take one....
And two....

Coming nearer and nearer....
The Military Museum Ship at dock...
Finally... after many endless footsteps..... we joined the crowd....
The first thing I did.....
Sat rooted to the bench....
I am finally here!!
The London Tower Bridge...
Bye.. till we meet again..someday!

  2. Did you go up the Eye. I wouldn't dare - I have developed this phobia for heights!!! Didn't use to have that problem, dunno if it has got to do with old age.

    2. Borough Market is in London Bridge. Best to go on Saturday when all the stores are open. The stuff are expansive but there are some gems. Good buys: Edam cheese from unpasteurised milk with complex flavours, Parma ham pork (vacuum pack, good for making soup).

Each borough has its own farmers market. There are a couple of good ones, a bus ride or so from Old Street.

  6. Great fun pictures! I see you have managed to shrink the Eye so you can hold it. And the sun behind the palace is gorgeous! You never even look tired, you must have the energy of a 20 year old! Very healthy.

  7. The cruise very expensive leh, cruising on foot is a wise choice. Tired legs is temporary, memory is permanent. :P
