Seafood At Green View Restaurant In Petaling Jaya

DINNER IN GREEN VIEW RESTAURANT in Petaling Jaya, we sisters were invited to go.  The three of us have never been there and were anticipating to see what was in store.  There was a parking space right in front of the restaurant and the pots of plants were decorated with Crab Shells....
Cactus with crab shells on them....
Wonder what they served inside the restaurant..
Let's go in...
Appetizer was served the moment we sat down..
These pickled papaya is my favourite... anytime of the day...
Crispy fried dried shrimps were served as well....
Very swiftly our orders were taken and the food was served within minutes....
Sang Har Mein is one of their signature dishes...
This portion is more than enough for the six of us...
Each of us were served with this portion.....
Taste?  Not too bad.. but not super tasty either... LOL...
Crispy sotong... I like the freshness and the crispiness of this dish...
A special Kai Lan dish....
The Clams were fresh but with basil leaves, they would taste much better...
Steamed Fish called Soon Hock also known as Marble Goby....
First time eating this fish....
Not sure how much this meal cost...
Didn't Pay so Didn't Ask....
Must be hundreds of ringgits, right?
Oh, we didn't order crabs at all...
It was way too expensive cos they were from Australia...
The journey is pretty far and thus the heavy price... LOL...

The Three of Us were very thankful with another sumptuous dinner...
No complaints except that...
We drank a lot of Chinese tea that evening and did not sleep until 2am!
Must avoid drinking tea during dinner next time.....

Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner At San Jose 2022

TABLE FOR FOUR... We had our own reunion Chinese New Year dinner on Monday evening.... we made a simple one, just hot pot at home.  All we have to do is to clean the vegetables, get everything defrosted... and the hot pot boiling with a packet of seasoning.  They sell a lot of hot pot seasoning over here, from tomato soup to shrimp and chicken soup, I just threw in the whole packet of paste.  No doubt not so healthy but it is so easily done....  As usual, Chinese New Year won't be CNY without a plate of Loe Sang...  No crackers so I put in a few pieces of Tacos... LOL... Most important is the sauce....  The apricot, plum sauce and honey makes it right.... And our dishes for the evening..... We ate too much shrimps the day before so we omitted for this evening.... Simple and yet satisfying meal for our Reunion Dinner....

Three Hours City Tour At Ensenada, Mexico

A THREE HOURS CITY TOUR when we embarked in Mexico on the second morning.   My sister booked the three hours city tour in Ensenada, Mexico, a van came to pick us up from the port.  Ensenada is the border of Mexico and it reminds me of Hatyai, a border town too between Malaysia and Thailand.  We were taken to a shopping area where we must haggle for the goods.  LOL.. Yes, something common in my own country... Anyway, we did not buy anything for ourselves... just a wooden handmade truck for my grandson which cost $8usd.   Nothing much to shout about on this three hours excursion, I was so sleepy on the way back to the ship that I dozed off and only awaken when we were driven through the town.  All in all, I just wanted to step onto Mexican soil and I would give this a miss if I were to go on this Mexico cruise again.  LOL... At the open area shopping walking towards the Blowhole... This is La Bufadora Blowhole, an amazing natural marine geyser that is capable of shooting water over 60 fe

Cookies For Chinese New Year 2022 In San Jose

MISSING IN BLOGGING AGAIN.... this has become a norm now ever since I arrived to this continental... LOL... Now I understand the word of Full Commitment when it comes to taking care of baby... seriously, I have to be fully commited and occupied by this little cheeky fella who is now going to be his 10th month soon.  Wow... time flies, when I first came, he was just slightly over four months... that being said, it is soon time fo rme to pack my bags and leave.  LOL... My 6 months being a babysitter is soon over... and did I say I can hardly wait?  NO, NO... I love my job here and I am going to miss my baby tremendously!  I only don't miss his cries!  LOL...  OK, by the time I write this post, Chinese New Year is over, it is now the 4th day of CNY.  Two days before the Lunar New Year, my daughter-in-law and I cooperated fully and baked a few types of cookies.  Looking back at these pictures, I dare say that we did a good job... not on the cookies but at least we had a great time bond
