Buffet Dinner At Sarkies, Eastern & Oriental Hotel, Penang

THE MOMENT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR....

Since our hearty breakfast, we did not eat much during the whole afternoon except for a bowl of Cendol at Penang Road.  Yes, we were looking forward to anticipating our Buffet Dinner at Eastern and Oriental Hotel.  *Kiasu mode*  Our sacrifice and leaving space in our stomach finally pays off at around 7pm at Sarkies Corner.  By then we were super hungry....

Oh, before we went for the "food attack", we walked around the vicinity of the E & O Hotel, the weather was perfect, the surrounding was so beautiful and we took some long minutes to walk around, inside the hotel lobby and outside into the gardens... as usual, I filled my camera with endless pictures of us three ladies.... *I guess this common interest runs in our blood*
This beautiful scenic in front of our eyes at the gardens of the E & O Residences....
Quickly I took one before it turned dark.....
And nothing could be seen after that....
Rooms facing the sea...
They called me Butterfly that evening... and I wish I could fly...
We took this picture to emphasize the Gigantic Tree....
In the gardens....
At the Lobby....
Inside the Lobby...
And soon.. it was time to go in for our buffet....
And some the food that we partook....
Cheers....
It was a night to remember actually...
My Actual Day when I was born some a few decades ago...
Thank you, Aaron for sponsoring this Wonderful Dinner!!

  3. Happy Belated Birthday Mama. You have such a thoughtful son who treated you to the best buffet spread in Penang! You should check in to sleep in their huge luxurious rooms too. I was studying nearby for 11 years and ogled daily at this swanky hotel.

  4. A belated Happy Birthday Claire. You are looking EXTRA pretty in these posts! You are beautiful inside and out...raising three children who have all grown up to be wonderful! The staircase picture with the three of you is awesome, and my favorite! All the palm trees in front of the hotel are beautiful! We have no palm trees here, they will not grow in this climate.
