Eat All You Can At AOKI-TEI, Kota Damansara

WHEN WE HEARD THAT FROM MY SIL, hands were all up for the buffet lunch.  The next morning, we "skipped" breakfast, ok, let me speak for myself.  I purposely woke up later than usual and drank a mug of diluted oats so that I wouldn't faint with an empty stomach before noon.  By 11.30am, the seven of us were all dressed up and ready to go, most of us wearing as "loose" clothing as usual upon some advice from a buffet expert eater!  LOL....
This is the Japanese Buffet Restaurant we were going to "attack"
Hope they won't ban us from going in again after the endless orders...
No food were wasted...
we made sure each plate is empty before ordering next and next...
These are some of the orders that lasted us till late at night...
Shashimi, belly fish, tempura, soft crabs, grilled salmon, ice cream... all endless orders..
I could finish these two plates of salad too!
I like the Butter Fish.... haven't tasted them before...
See the menu? Happy Hour on Your Lunch..
Eat and Drink All You Can!
For seniors, can get 30% off.. rate is around RM50 if not mistaken...
*Not footing bill so won't ask*  heheee..
Endless food, drinks and chatter...
Hope we are not "blacklisted" after this meal...
LOL....

  6. Wow, there is so much! And lots of variety too! Their senior rate is the best I have ever seen. Here, seniors only get ten percent off, or maybe fifteen percent. It all looks very fresh!

An Evening Dinner At Chef Chew Kitchen, Petaling Jaya

BACK TO SG. BULOH for a couple of days.... Come evening, we went for dinner at Chef Chew Kitchen in Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya.  Since it was my first time there, I did not know what to expect except to sit back, relax and eat.  LOL... It is a one shop lot restaurant so tables are very limited.  Reservation was made at 6pm to be on the safe side, to avoid crowds and waiting for food was very minimized at this time of the day.  For the seven of us, these dishes were served on the table... Thumbs up even before the dinner...  And soon these are served...  Claypot braised ribs...  Their signature dish... Fish Maw...  First time eating fish maw which is whitish in colour...  Black Beancurd with Pumpkin sauce... Hey, this restaurant indeed serves new to me! This must be Sweet Sauce Chicken... For the American... Cos we Asians like Steamed Chicken like this!  LOL...  And the star dish of the dinner is this...  Freshly steamed and succulent prawns

Reunion At Museum Restaurant At Starling Mall

CLASSMATES REUNION... but not from my year.  i just tagged along with my sister who wanted my company that evening.  She was going to meet up with some of her classmates at The Starling mall.  I did not want to drive there, taking Grab is a much easier and practical choice, considering it was rush hour in the evening.  Furthermore, I am not familiar with the roads... both of us might panic on the federal highway.  LOL...  Having someone to take us there is so stress free, we only have to pay RM20 for the ride.  :)  Our first time to Startling Mall and being made familiar by one of the bloggers, Phong Hong who used to post up her lunch meals taken from there.  We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but we reached there an hour earlier to "survey" the shops and ended up buying a "bit."  Blame it on my sister who always like to give positive comments most of the time!   The dinner was held at The Museum.... Originated from Ipoh actually and how there is a branch

Night Market Along Lee Garden Plaza Hotel, Hatyai

BY THE TIME WE REACHED THE HOTEL, it was almost dark. This time round, we took a longer rest in the hotel... my girl might not need it but I certainly did!  After recharging around 80% of my body strength, we were ready to explore the streets again. Our hotel is really a strategic spot for us tourists.  The street vendors were all ready to boost their sales in front, at the side and along the whole stretch of street where we stayed.  Left, right, front... the place was filled with people and tourists like us... I could hear some of them speaking my dialect, we felt kind of at home instead of being tourists.... Besides the street vendors in front of the hotel, there was a night market just five minutes walking distance away from our hotel, Lee Garden Plaza.... Maybe they only opened during the weekends?  I am not sure about that.. .anyway, we were kind of excited to see all the bright lights along the street.... Come... Let's Go! We started from the beginning of the str
